Course Description
Modes have often been "scary" subject matter for many of my students over the years. This is mostly attributed to it repeatedly being taught in a theoretical manner with little application and context. This can leave students and would be learners stumped, intimidated and often unmotivated.
My course is all about creating an understanding of "hearing" the mode and the "mood" that is created when you hear it. It may even help you with the kinds of moods you are trying to convey in your compositions.
In this course we'll cover the 7 modes as 1 octave scales, to covering the whole fretboard, as well as creating lead licks and understanding modal chord progressions.

I have been playing guitar since 1993 when I received a guitar shortly after my 5th birthday. From day 1 I was obsessed. I was excelling through all school music and was constantly in bands.
By age 15 I was teaching out of a room in my house and my passion for music blossomed further. My love for teaching and nurturing players has been an amazing 15 year journey.
A few short years ago I started a YouTube channel called Chris Zoupa/Learn That Solo dedicated to learning rock and metal lead guitar as a way to put my knowledge to use, to keep my playing and ear training fresh and to pay homage to the guitar heroes that inspired me to be the player I am today.
I now have 100,000+ YouTube subscribers and teach over 80 guitar lessons (in person and Skype) a week with students from all over the world ranging from Australian (my home country) to America, Canada, Chile, Turkey, Mozambique, Ireland, Scotland, England and India to name a few.
I'm hoping that I can use Udemy to reach more inspiring students and aspiring players!

Faltou a parte do modo locrio a ser abordado. Por mais que não seja usual deve ser tratado junto aos demais.
