A Complete Guide to Successful Freelance Logo Design Career (Udemy.com)

Most of the content was good but it was hard to understand Jestoni at times and he repeated himself quite a bit when trying to explain. Not always the best use of time for a video lesson but covered some good ground and tips. Very much appreciated and always winning to learn.

I really liked the introduction, how the tutor was talking about his own life experience in design, about his promises that we will try to work together on DesignCrowd website. But everything was lost. I didn't find any explanations how to post any design on the designcrowd website. No requirements were discussed. As for the beginner it is hard to understand all the rules and tutor was not answering any questions. Already for a year... As well I found that course quite weak. Not many new things were introduced. Sometimes I was getting the feeling that this course was made from the random videos taken from somewhere else. No obvious course theme in there. Overall not bad, but neither good.

I really enjoyed the class! I actually understand adobe illustrator and can make my own logo designs! I wish the instructor would have went over how to upload the designs to design contests. From what I understand, all websites are different, but I didn't even know what types of files you would have to submit or how to export them from adobe. Unfortunately, it seems the instructor is not currently answering questions, but hopefully he will soon. Other than that I loved the class and would recommend it! I didn't know a thing and now I can create logos! Very excited!

The course was too basic and very shallow, the instructor does not have much knowledge about advanced logo design and freelancing (the only thing mentioned was logo contest not freelancing). Very little information and most of the course was about how to do things in illustrator. The tittle was vary misleading, I don't recommend.

Edit: The course is very similar to Jestoni's other courses about designing logos by learning how to draw shapes. I'm halfway throughout the course, but I don't see many "cutting edge" examples. When you look at company logos, usually they are a lot more complicated than a circle with some text inside. Jestoni should do a course on the really, really complicated logos which is essentially what people want to learn. I think a good starting point would be to draw the Starbucks logo. I will give this course 2.5 stars purely because there is a "Get your free course section", and when you click on it you still have to pay for the course. This is the second time I am having this issue with jestoni's courses and I have messaged him using the Udemy platform. He hasn't addressed this issue yet! If he doesn't want to give away his courses, it's absolutely fine, just remove the section from your course content!

Jestoni is a good educator he helps those designer whose talent be more creative by doing in this course you will learn a lot of him he will guide you in doing some logo design technique and make passive income in doing work as a freelance or you're in office work. I am a marketing professional by trade (12 years in the industry thus far) and studied Poly sci/Spanish in college. I took this course because I love designing assets for online marketing- i.e. when I design a website I like to design all of the digital assets that go with it. So I thought it would be great to take a course so I can continue to increase the quality of my work for clients- and this was the perfect course to take. Jestoni does a great job of demonstrating each lesson so you can work right along with the lesson and design side-by-side. He's also great at guiding us when we post designs to the forum - a perfect balance of critique and helpful suggestions. My work has definitely improved since I've started the course. I think Jestoni is a great teacher and very accessible to students. Very pleased with this course. Definitely recommend it to others!

This is an awsome course, especialy for beginners. Even if it provides the basic information about logo design, taking this course will let you find out wich are the tools and skills you have to master to be able to design logos. Another cool thing is that the instructor encourages you to take part to real-life projects. Before watching this course I hadn't courage to send my logo designs to potential buyers.
