I liked the instructions and demonstrations very much, also pdfs were well done. This course jumps straight into "loose style" so if you are looking to learn realistic painting, it's not for you. I prefer painterly style; therefore, it was a good fit for me. Malcolm did a great job offering valuable advice and a few practical tips throughout and I learned a lot. Thank you!

I like this course. Gentle and easy pace that is good in the sense that it gives one time to absorb the information in the earlier sessions about colour, composition, values, etc. The actual painting demonstrations are taken at a pace which allows one to actually paint along with the session so that can be very beneficial. There is a workbook to download and other resources also - but I didn't find them for a while until I read all the detail underneath the video. Also I find the tutor has a very relaxing way about him and I love the fact that he keeps things simple - as in you don't need a whole lot of colours etc and he shows you how to mix colours etc. Wonderful all round.

Good lesson. Video gets frozen at times and works after refresh. How do we remember the color mixes that matches a block/area in any scene? There are a large possible cases.

Love the stay wet palette, so far so good looking forward to the rest. The demonstrations reduce being intimidated and give me a feeling that this is within reach and I can make improvements as I absorb each concept and bring put them together.
