Develop new skills to treat your most challenging cases This course was originally developed for Massage Therapists but is also beneficial for Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, other health practitioners and/or those with an interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

com The course is structured as a series of short video lectures contained within eight sections. The entire course takes about three hours to complete and can be done all at once or over several days. Make sure to press "HD" button on Udemy video player to watch in highest resolution. Section one: Short introduction Section two: Basic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). General introduction to TCM diagnosis, yin-yang theory and the concept of Qi. A basic understanding of TCM concepts will allow you to grasp the theory behind the practical applications and techniques you will learn in sections three and four. Section three: Introduction to Meridian theory. Function, location, and pressure techniques for the TCM meridians that are most applicable to massage. A handout summarizing location, function and use of the meridians will be available to you.
Section four: Function, location and technique for eight acupressure points that are useful in massage. A handout summarizing the location, function and use of the points will be available to you. Section five: Summary of what you have learned in the course. Sample case study reviewing how you can apply the techniques to your treatments. Section six: Course handouts. Jeffrey Chand, RAc., Dipl. TCM is a licensed member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC (CTCMA). He has been a Registered Acupuncturist since 2000. Post graduation, he furthered his education and training through practical experience at a hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. He has a passion for health and teaches Qi Gong and continuing education courses for health professionals and the general public.

There are a few issues I have noticed.
Firstly The layout isn't too user friendly. When trying to do notes the whole page shifts and information in the video is lost.
Secondly the transcriptions do not come out clear and many of the words are not understandable.
Thirdly Some of the words sound mumbled and repeated rewinding is needed to try and hear what has been said.
