Adobe Lightroom CC: Landscape Photography Master Class (Udemy.com)

The course is a bit too single minded, where it only teaches you a specific workflow instead of explaining different approaches or techniques. That being said, the workflow shown is very useful and there is enough explaination on why certain things are done to then experiment on your own, so I think overall I would reccomend this course!

A good walkthrough of lightroom and its features. The examples didn't necessarily end up looking the most natural, but still a beautiful take on enhanced colors and leading the eye through the composition. I would recommend this course to people new to Lightroom and photo editing, but to keep in mind that the workflow presented shouldn't be taken as a rule, but rather as one approach.

Most courses use presets and profiles in LR. This course builds from the basics which is good. I didn't understand until 1/2 through the course that RAW files were available. I needed to scroll down (see more) to see information. My fault. Instructions is very clear and with practice will make all students much better editing in Lightroom. Really a good value. I made notes on all chapters and will use as a resource for future edits in Lightroom.

This is a wonderful, wonderful course. I had very little knowledge about Lightroom and editing photographs in general but Fabian's workflow really helps to get to a point where one can create stunning pictures. Though, Fabian's explanation is clear and quite detailed, to improve on this course, I would recommend Fabian to explain more on certain concepts like sharpness. It's very easy to follow Fabian, but I do wish Fabian goes into much more detail on what exactly we're trying to achieve with these concepts and how exactly do those Lightroom features help towards that. Overall, a fantastic course!

Excellent RAW development course with some impressive adjustment tips which I would never have thought about. A sprinkling of Photoshop tips also dropped in with clear instructions on what to do. Does need prior knowledge of Lightroom and how to use the interface. This does only cover the Develop aspects of Lightroom, it does not cover any of the image management or cataloguing capabilities of the program.

It is a short yet amazing course to learn Lightroom CC. Though I was using the software for last few years but never recognized it's true potential. This course addresses the most common problem (Frustrating dullness of RAW Landscape images) and the the solution. Rather than describing each and every tool or menu tabs this course jumps directly into practical field of editing - that makes it very interesting. I have applied the editing process to my own work and it gives amazing results. The author shares his own photographs in RAW format for practice. That's the best part of the course. Thanks a lot for sharing such course.

Hi Fabian. Your workflow got me up-to-speed and editing my photos very quickly. This helped me a lot. My only suggestion was that I would like more explanation for the different functions. Perhaps, add a resource link to different sites or videos to explain things like split toning, vibrance vs. saturation, etc. I think, understanding it from a more scientific basis would help in using these functions. In some cases, the differences are subtle and need to be understood. Again, thank you for catapulting my post-processing. Enjoyed it. EJS

I really like to see how to transform landscape pictures from boring to colorfull step by step. Instructor is fine, explaining each step and by repeating the same steps I better remember it. Only one negative thing for me was that sometimes the video/screen was not so focused and I was not able to see the impact of adjustments. I recommend for all beginners with landscape. Really great course.

It was a good course which covered a lot. The examples were relevant to what I would hope to use in my processing. I would definitely look at this lecturer for other courses if I thought they were relevant to me. The lecturer was engaging and the lectures were always about the right length. The only thing that would add to the course would be a bit more explanation about the lecturer's reason for doing particular editing and what the technical reason for choosing a process was (This may just be me but the reasoning behind the choice of editing helps me to work out when and if I would do the same thing for processing that I might do)

I'm no stranger to Lightroom and landscape photography, but since Landscape and nature is my preferred topic I figured I could learn helping a couple new tricks. Fabian definitely delivered on this aspect. Well paced, simple instructions, and uses "real" photograph examples (as in, not award winning masterpieces straight out of the RAW file, but more like diamonds in the rough that need work and postprocessing done). The only reason I'm giving it 4.5 stars is because I would have liked to see a more varied catalogue of landscapes (I know, a difficult task in Germany :P). For example, ocean or waterfall long exposures, snowy mountains with a lot of contrast, desert and open fields with challenging small dynamic range, or HDR techniques in windy situations with lots of vegetation and moving leaves, etc. Either way and by all means, don't let this discourage you from getting the course. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or starting your journey, there is definitely something good to learn here. It was very informative and I would certainly recommend it! Also, keep in mind even though the title says Lightroom CC, he's actually using Lightroom Classic CC. Most of the functionality will be the same, but bear in mind some tools he uses (namely split tone) are not available in the new Lightroom CC (non Classic) version.
