I want to first preface by saying I don’t know Chris, and I never met the guy, but if I did meet him….. I would shake his hand and say thank you for creating such amazing courses that have helped me in my journey towards becoming a professional photographer. I have purchased the majority of Chris’s courses and rate them all 5 stars because he has curated valuable information on his decades of work as a professional photographer and post production editing with Adobe Lightroom, lightroom classic, and photoshop neatly package in an inexpensive course. If you’re passionate about photography like I am, I strongly recommend purchasing his photography course, Lightroom, Lightroom classic and photoshop course (I call it the trifecta of photography courses). Chris has a very good teaching style, detailed and extremely knowledgeable; he’s literally giving you decades of experience and resources to help you become a professional photographer or casual photographer who wants to take better pics. Chris goes over every detail in his Lightroom course and explains things in a very easy to understand way. I have always been passionate about photography but didn’t know the fundamentals of photography, I didn’t understand how to properly use the settings on my camera, and never used Lightroom or photoshop. After taking Chris’s courses, with the knowledge that I now have; I decided to start my own photography and videography business. Chris if you’re reading this, thank you sir.

he course did an excellent job of teaching color grading techniques, helping me understand how to achieve the perfect hues and tones in my photos. It also emphasized the importance of maintaining the right exposure, which was a game-changer for my photography. One of the highlights of the course was the fantastic selection of presets offered. These presets made the editing process much more efficient and gave my photos a professional touch with minimal effort. Overall, I found the course to be a valuable resource for enhancing my mobile photography skills, especially when it comes to color grading and exposure management.

I found a lot of the more detailed content was rushed over quite quickly - I will have to go back and work some of it out for myself. Some of it was quite confusing; for example the masking section. This could do with more explanation here. I also found a lot of the course did not relate to my version of Lightroom until I upgraded to a paid subscription .... whereas it was stated clearly at the beginning of the course that it was for paid or free versions of Lightroom Mobile. So to really understand the course you have to pay for Lightroom!

Good advice here. I was taking the Photoshop for Graphic Designers course and it’s good but I only have experience on the mobile version of Photoshop. I don’t own a desktop version yet. I was getting overwhelmed do I started back with this course in the mobile version of Lightroom. I think it’s best for this old guy to finish this course before taking the Photoshop for Graphic Designers course.

It's a very good course, I learned a lot about editing. I'm not the fan of their aesthetics, but that was not a problem at all - I just made two versions - one following the instructions, and the other - with my settings. And you know what? Itwas a great excersice. How cool is that ;D?

This course was very helpful when it come to cell phone photography. It gave me some more insight on how to use the tools better and transition to using the app for me then just editing photos. I personally didn't pay attention to the camera icon on the Lightroom app. Bonus was the free presents they have given us. Now if they can show us how to use overlays. lol But this course was very helpful and I would recommend it.

As a beginner to Lightroom mobile app, I feel this course was given backwards: it would have been much more useful and less frustrating to teach all the tools and THEN go on to practice edits with the instructor. Useful information, but definitely more geared towards camera photography as opposed to smartphone.

So far, the content has focused on rapid-fire sequences of editing changes, with no explanation given for why the change was made. It’s obvious that to increase, say, texture, I move the texture slider to the right. That’s the way all software works. I can figure out on my own the menus and the settings and sliders. I want to know why he moved the highlights to -75 or the red color channel hue toward orange. So in the first 40% of the course, I don’t feel I’ve learned much about editing, just what the menus and options are. If I were already a skilled editor, using Lightroom Mobile would be idiot-simple. But I’m not skilled at editing. That’s where I want help.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I now have a better insight into editing my photos with Lightroom using presets and editing controls. I plan on using what I learned to enhance my favorite photos so that I can display them on my walls. Thank you for the free presets. I look forward to having fun experimenting with them.

I use Lightroom CC and mobile and have taken two other editing courses and this one is by far the best. Chris not only goes into detail on how to use and apply all aspects of Lightroom but offers his reasoning for doing or not doing things which is what I didn't get from other courses I've taken. The one area I feel felt a little lacking was editing color. Not in how to do it but more about why. Some of the changes were very subtle and I would have liked to hear his thought process behind the changes.
