Advanced Object Oriented Analysis of Hard Problems using UML (Udemy.com)

I've got much less of UML expertise than I expected. The course is hardly about UML. It's about very basics and some best practices. There is a lot of water not much related to the topic. Examples are pretty complicated. I'd prefer something from everyday life rather than from court staff which itself takes huge resources to be understood so I have two things to learn at a time. It's hard and not effective. There are pretty many mistakes in English which complicate understanding and distract. Illustrations are often not illustrating the topic and also distract attention. I'd prefer to see the lector. Entries and conclusions are long, contain a lot of unnecessary repetitve info and just take time. So, the course is OK as a very-very start in UML. It doesn't really teach. It offers a lot of theory. Almost no practice! I love Udemy courses for practice, but this is not about this course. Yet it gives some interesting knowledge though in a pretty boring way. Sorry. It's my first course from Udemy which I didn't enjoy.

I think the course was a very interesting take. I started of because UML, I got less of that that I thought I will, but I get something better out of it. The philosophical foundation part was extremely interesting (although I have to confess I do read / listen to philosophy in my free time), it created a great parallel between foundational human thinking and thinking about IT architecture. It was strange how many connections were there. Also, I really enjoyed the thinking and how Per reached, I think the course excelled at showing the thought process of an experienced individual and there is a great value in that. Concept modelling was not something I was familiar with before this course, but I'll use it in my work as a BA/SA (heck I already did so in a couple of meetings with great success, even though I'm just beginning). So,while the course was different than my expectation, it was different in a good way. I think it is definitely worth taking if you are a beginner / mid-level professional who has to understand and document difficult concepts that are not in your knowledge domain.

This course is very professional, well structured and the author is extremely well educated on this topic. The pace of the course eventually will match your ability to understand the provided new concepts and ideas and won't leave you in the dark without providing you examples and only theory. The course also contains very dense practical content and few exercises to practice your newly added knowledge. That being said, I am sad that it is the only one made by the author because it is helping me tremendously to visualize problems and solve them quicker using conceptual mapping. 5/5

It seems to very much match what I need to further grow as a business analyst and systems of systems engineer. My expectations are it will allow me to make a quantum leap in efficacy, and will support agility.

Fantastic course with alot of detailed material. Learnt alot of new details about the theory of where the ways of thinking originate from.

The instructor's knowledge of philosophy helps to convey the concepts of this course in a meaningful way. I think it's money well spent.
