Course Description

In this course, you will learn all the commands in SketchUp software except Ruby Console and if you already know everything in the SketchUp software then the dynamic component section is for you where you will learn how to animate components. Basically, this course has something for everyone.

There are two sections in this course. In the first section, you will learn basics where you will learn how to draw objects and how to make them in 3d, how to use modify tools, how to draw objects from an image and other commands. All the commands are taught with the help of examples. For example, first, you will learn the extrude command and then how to use it to make different types of roofs.

In the section sections, you will learn how to display the price on the screen, flash messages, change material with the click of a button, how to copy and scale objects, and other interesting and important animations.

The version being used bears little resemblance to the current version of the software I'm using (SketchUp Pro 2018). This makes following the course video literally impossible, especially in the section starting the setting up tool. For example, in the current version there are no trays, and no commands to set them up, but this video shows how to set up trays and dropdowns that do not exist in the current version. No correlation. I am not happy about this especially since the instructor claimed to have updated this course to SketchUp Pro 2018. I don't know if I can continue this course if these are similar disconnects between this video and the current software.
