Our take
Based on the ratings of 2,343 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in August 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
Mehmet Ozkaya's course is an architecture survey, not a build-along. The syllabus shows 87 lectures in 13 sections, about 7.5 hours, 11 quizzes and no coding exercises. It covers the agentic loop, multi-agent orchestration, design patterns such as Planning, Reflection and ReAct, agentic RAG, the Model Context Protocol, context engineering and an agent development lifecycle. The stated requirements are basic software architecture and basic generative AI. Around 14,600 students have enrolled, and it was last updated in August 2026, so the material is current.
Reviewers like how clearly the concepts are laid out. One says it gave them the full picture of the agentic landscape, and another calls the content detailed and in-depth. The complaints are consistent too. Several students struggle with the instructor's accent, and one says the auto captions made it worse. Others mention repetition, quizzes that are too easy, and implementation examples that need more detail. Of 2,343 ratings, 1,176 are five stars and 926 are four, with only a small number below three.
At this length it is a quick way to pick up the vocabulary and the named patterns, and it works as a map before a hands-on course. It will not teach you to build and ship an agent by itself. We would recommend it to architects who think in diagrams and trade-offs. Anyone who learns by coding, or who needs very clear audio, should look elsewhere first.
Pros
- Names and explains patterns like Planning, Reflection, ReAct, Router and Handoff in one place
- Reviewers say the concepts are clearly explained and give a full picture of the agent landscape
- Goes past frameworks into MCP, agentic RAG, context engineering and an agent lifecycle
- Short at 7.5 hours and refreshed in August 2026
Cons
- Several reviewers find the instructor's accent hard to follow, and one says captions misfired
- No coding exercises, and one reviewer wants more detailed implementation examples
- Some repetition, and quizzes are easy enough that one reviewer says the longest answer is always right
Very detailed conceptual explanation of the new Agentic AI workflows, tools and necessary understanding.
Listed for all levels, but it really suits developers who already know basic software architecture and generative AI.

Course Description
Are you ready to make the transition from a traditional developer to an Agentic Architect?
We are moving from the era of simple Generative AI—where we passively ask models to write text—to the era of Agentic AI, where we design autonomous systems that can perceive, reason, act, and solve complex problems on their own.
Building a demo agent is easy. Building a scalable, secure, Enterprise-Grade System of Agents is hard.
This course is the comprehensive design guide for software architects and senior engineers who want to master of building real-world Agentic Architecture. This course goes beyond basic scripting; we focus on the patterns, protocols, and lifecycles required to integrate intelligent agents into massive enterprise ecosystems.
What You Will Learn
Master Agentic Foundations: Distinguish between simple AI Agents and true Agentic AI, and master the "Agentic Loop" (Perception, Reasoning, Action, Learning).
Architect Multi-Agent Systems: Learn how to orchestrate teams of agents to solve complex goals using collaboration patterns.
Implement Agentic Design Patterns: Master reusable blueprints like ReAct, Reflection (Metacognition), and Planning to solve recurring architectural problems.
Enterprise Integration with MCP: Dive deep into the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to build servers that expose your existing microservices as tools to any agent.
Build Agentic RAG: Evolve traditional RAG into active research agents that can reason over your enterprise data.
The Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC): Manage the full lifecycle of an agent including security, governance, evaluation, and operations.
Real-World Capstone Project: Design and integrate a complete Agentic Layer on top of a real-world E-Shop Microservices architecture.
Course Roadmap
This course follows a structured four-part journey designed to take you from foundational concepts to advanced enterprise implementation:
Part 1: The Foundations of the Agent
We start by answering the fundamental question: How do you build an AI Agent? We will dissect the anatomy of an agent and distinguish between simple tools and autonomous systems. You will master the heartbeat of every agent—The Agentic Loop—tracing the journey of data through Perception, Reasoning, Action, and Learning to understand the agent's internal physiology.
Part 2: Architecture, Patterns & Frameworks
Once we understand the agent, we scale up to the system level. We will explore Agentic Architecture, specifically focusing on Multi-Agent Collaboration and Agentic Workflows. You will compare architectural styles like Orchestration vs. Choreography and survey the landscape of top frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Microsoft Agent Framework). Critically, we dedicate a massive section to Agentic Design Patterns, where you will learn to implement:
The Planning Pattern: Decomposing complex goals.
The Reflection Pattern: Enabling agents to critique and improve their own work.
The ReAct Compound Pattern: Combining reasoning and action loops.
Part 3: Enterprise Integration & Advanced Techniques
Here we move to the integration layer. We will tackle the biggest challenge in the industry: Agent Protocols. You will get a step-by-step guide to the Model Context Protocol (MCP), learning how to build servers that standardize how agents talk to your APIs. We will also cover Agentic RAG for advanced reasoning over data and Context Engineering to replace brittle prompt engineering with robust information architecture.
Part 4: Lifecycle & Capstone Project
Finally, we cover the Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC), addressing hard enterprise requirements like security, governance, and evaluation. We conclude with a massive Capstone Project where you will take everything you've learned to design and integrate a multi-agent system into a real-world E-Shop Microservices backend.
Who This Course Is For:
Software Architects looking to integrate AI agents into existing enterprise architectures.
Senior Developers wanting to move beyond basic LLM prompting to build autonomous systems.
AI Engineers seeking to master standard protocols like MCP and advanced multi-agent patterns.
Technical Leads responsible for defining the strategy for their company's AI adoption.
By the end of this course, you will not just be able to write an agent script. You will be able to architect, integrate, and manage entire agentic systems for the enterprise.

I loved this course. It gave me the full picture of all the agentic elements and possibilities! after this course i feel i can take and hands on course and proceed easily without losing time on searching logic!!! exactly what i need it!!! i would prefer to use python as a programming language, but honestly that was not an issue since the theoretical aspects were the greatest proportion of this course and so well explained it!!!

I faced lot of difficulty in understanding the author's speech , i had to rewind multiple times and even the captions were not generating correctly because of that .All this led me to take a larger time to understand what he was trying to say in all the parts of the course and hence it took a longer time to complete the course .This course was frustating for me.

Its a great course, nicely presented all the concepts. It would be great if we see sample relevant actual videos to understand the concept from the application perspective and that too if its based on python based it would be more great. But truely this is an great course on Agentic AI learning.

This course sums up most of the theoretical background needed to understand this topic, but unfortunately there are no lab exercises which would show you how things are done in practice. Otherwise it is a great course which will provide you with a good theoretical background for starting your journey in this field.

Good course. The course will lay down the foundations of how you can design Agentic flow. But you will have to do some of your own research on the topics if you want to learn in detail (Ture with all the courses).

I'm just starting on my Agentic adventures, and this course provided a solid foundation about Agentic AI Architecture, patterns and concepts that I had not encountered in other courses. I've already recommended it to some colleagues. Thank you

There is alot of information provided about desiging a practical agentic ai system but what would be really great of some code examples can be provided along with the ocean of theory. on specific topics like guardrail implementation, Observability and Monitoring of models etc.
By Amit Raheja on 4/30/2026
Nice explanation. Much appreciated. I would recommend to add some code snippets to the course along with the files. This would provide a practical aspect to the learning. However, still from an architect standpoint, the course is awesome !!!
By Crystal Valentine on 4/15/2026
Very much appreciated the course. Especially loved the role play within each section. Knowing the concepts vs being able to explain them in real life scenarios is very different, so liked the practice it gave.
By Hugo Guerrero on 4/12/2026
As a solutions architect, this course is amazing, great content and well structured, i have learned a lot. Just one improvement area: the pace of the explanations. Its fast and if you miss 2 seconds, you may get lost and repeat that part.
