Course Description
HTML works perfectly fine as far as static documents are concerned. If a web application requires dynamic views however, it's less than ideal. That's where AngularJS comes in; an open-source framework that extends HTML vocabulary for you application, resulting in intuitive, expressive single page applications. For an AngularJS crash course to get you up to speed with this widely used framework, look no further.
Create flawless Single Page Applications with Angular JS
- Learn framework fundamentals for AngularJS projects
- Apply your knowledge to real world uses
- Build towards creating your own Web and Hybrid applications
- Gain insight into working with MVC architecture
Build frameworks with a versatile, cutting edge toolset
Although only officially released in 2012, AngularJS has taken the world by storm thanks to official support from Google, a community of developers constantly improving it, and some of the internet's biggest websites making use of it. One of its best features is its data binding; dynamic views are automatically updated whenever a model changes, and vice versa. Furthermore, it combines the benefits of deep linking with desktop app-like behaviors, allows you to invent new HTML syntax and is designed to be testable. The result is simplified development and testing of applications and, ultimately, faultless single page and hybrid applications.
Course Overview
This AngularJS crash course is aimed at those who already have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript, but who may have limited experience of AngularJS projects. With 3 hours of content and over 50 lectures, it's a fast and efficient way to get yourself up to speed with this framework and start using it in the real world.
This course will allow you to grasp the basic concepts of AngularJS and its main features. You'll be provided with functional examples throughout to compound your learning, giving you the opportunity to put it to practical use.
After an overview of environment setup and MVC architecture, you'll get to grips with the more complex attributes of AngularJS, including modules and dependency injection, controllers, expressions, directives, scopes, filter, routing, and two-way data binding.
From Section 4 onwards, you'll build up a framework for your own dynamic app using bootstrap layouts, filters, list routing and setting parameters. You'll learn how to add useful functions like adding, updating and deleting elements, form validation and more. You'll even tackle debugging with Chrome console and add custom directives to make your HTML as readable as it can be.
By the end of the course, you will be confident enough to begin your own AngularJS projects, using the framework for creating web and hybrid applications of your own. You will have solidified your understanding of the AngularJS language and will be more than capable of putting to real world use with immediate effect.

I am UX designer want to understand how Angular works, Actually i want to understand how developer will take the challenges, want to see the great abilities & limitations via Angular & how can i help them via design concept that match in coding as well practically. This course have Clear Explanation about every element use in this tutorial, I learn first time angular & its very helpful to understand that how it works & how we can use this code in specific situations. I have very less experience in code but i have found Great Teacher & Great learning material. This course is straight to point that how Angular features works & how we can use in coding practically. Thank you!

The course was overall pretty good but there were several times where the instructor added/removed code that he didn't mention in the video so it entailed extra debugging. Also the course is outdated and had to find solutions for the issues since there has been updates that makes some of the code unusable. but its free so cant be too picky! I still learned some valuable things. Thanks

At the end of the video, you had both editors and the content was really small to see in WebStorm. Still, agree the zoom value in Web Storm could be larger. I know this is old, but it is still great training and technology and I know I will need to go train myself on current Angular, but I am using AngularJS to add some quick-two way binding on a ASP.NET Razor project. It is such a shame that AngularJS is going away and I am behind the curve as this video will save my life as I am using AngularJS 1.7, but I will be getting up to speed with the latest version of Angular.

Really liked the course. Fast paced, which is what I wanted as I'm familiar with JS and I'm already an accomplished PHP programmer and familiar with HTML 5 and CSS 3. The course gave me enough knowledge to start building an app that I already developed in PHP and that I will now rewrite in AngularJS using the PHP backend calls that I already developed for the app. Kudos to the instructor. Keep up the good works!

This course is very good for beginners. I was able to understand what instructor was explaining in the course. The course is short and has covered tips on how we can easily learn this course. But those who don't have prior knowledge on routing and JS will not understand what instructor is trying to do with adding, saving and other stuff. So, i suggest you to add pre-requisites for those who enroll this course to know what basic knowledge they need have to learn. Thanks Nagamani

Decent intro to AngularJS. Student quickly builds a working, extensible, good-looking client-side application using Angular's core features. Doesn't explain or glosses over some concepts (E.g. what Angular functions return, what parameters they take, using array of strings as parameter "for minification", what app.config *is*, etc.) Disappointed in the cloud/server section since it only fakes server calls and doesn't actually step through connecting to a server/db for real, persistent data and a complete application. Also, the AngularJS version used is out-of-date so adjustments are needed for routing and the entirety of the server/cloud section (.success and .error, in particular.)

This is a very good tutorial. Speaker is clear, understandable, and eager to teach. The downloadable source code (entire project) is runnable right out of the box. It's uses a different / older version of AngularJS... but that's doesn't really matter. If you learn this (version of AngularJS)... you should be able to continue further with newer versions of AngularJS. There are couple small / minor errors that "might" through you off a little... but it some time and work - you should be able to get past them. This is not for the absolute beginner... but students with "some level" of experience with basic HTML / CSS / JS should be able to learn from this tutorial. Tech Support responds in less than 2 days... mostly 1. Highly recommended.

Fantastic course. A little fast paced, but it's designed to easily go back and watch/re-learn concepts. I especially like how the videos are built in bite-size snippets. This will be a go-to reference for a long time to come!

The course is very good but I have a comment that 1 - The screen is split between the editor and the browser so I can't read well the code even I watch in HD quality. 2 - Choosing names of the module and app are quite similar which makes me confused at the first videos between them. 3 - Some points need more details but I read it from w3schools Far of these points, it is very good Thanks a lot

This course is great for beginners.. although some people claim they didn't see the code in the videos. I guess it had to do with screen resolution settings. I saw the code and enjoyed every bit of the training. The instructor broke angularjs down to its minimal parts and explained each concepts that could throw anyone off in a modular fashion. N/B: I have no former knowledge of any front-end full-fledged framework (just jquery) and I could cope pretty well.
