How do you draw clothes?

By Gohan D on 9/1/2020

Thank you very much for this course. I really appreciate you're letting us see you drawing & painting in real time for most parts of the course, I am not sure why you don't draw the outfits on a new layer rather than the same layer of the body, that will ease the line erasing a lot. Anyway I haven't finished the course yet and I can't wait to start your other course "Characters and Illustrations". You asked for suggestion for your other courses, well, i have two - please keep them like this one in real time :)
1- please make course about painting outfits that have patterns & textures and how to conform them to the body
2- I would also like a course about inking for Anime, comics & manga
Thank you very much and looking forward for your next courses

This is a wonderful course, especially if you are beginner artist interested in fashion design or creating comics (particularly shojou manga/manwha).
For a maximum learning experience, I would recommend submitting your own project in the Q&A forum so Christina or your fellow students can give you feedback.
I used to draw only armor and very simple clothes, but after taking this course, I learned to appreciate various fashion styles. I learned a lot and I'll be revisiting the course every time I need a refresher. Thanks, Christina!

For those of you who are thinking if you should purchase this course or not, here is my recommendation.
This is definitely value for money. Personally, i have spent quite an amount on online art courses. So i can heartily recommend this course for those who are keen on drawing anime or manga.
This course will definitely not waste your money, like many courses out there which just ramble on and one without guidelines. You learn what you need, and you can use it.
Whether you are totally new to art, or you have come with abit experience, this course will add some skills to your portfolio.
What is so helpful about this course is, the instructor guides you through the whole process of drawing the character with the clothing. You will learn to draw intricate parts of jewelry, shoes and understand how cloth works.
The last part of the course which is a bonus, provides guidance on how you can draw the face.
So this course is definitely value for money. The course instructor is also open to feedback and willing to hear what students have to say.
Thanks again to Christina for being open to feedback. Am looking forward to learning more from you should you be introducing new courses! Blessings!
