In my opinion instructor should record this course again because :- 1. step by step guide is missing 2. sometime things messed up 3. better techniques should be adopted 4. this course is not for beginners

Amazing course! Everything is covered in great detail and follows a logical progression. I can see how the fundamentals like boxes and cylinders are being applied to creating characters. The instructor has demystified things that previously haven't made sense to me. I highly recommend this course.

The course is informative thus far, mainly from a beginner perspective. Whilst I already know much of it from other courses on Udemy, it is still useful for people completely new to the concepts and easy to follow along. Some new things I will pick up such as the drawing of eyes and other features for anime. Good so far.

I can't believe my eyes, I started drawing nice sketches after this course. It helped me a lot in drawing the proportions of humans and Christina mam always told every name of every muscle by which my knowledge improves about body parts. But one thing I did not liked was she doesn't reply to my drawings.

I really enjoyed this course. I've been wanting to learn this style of art for a long time. This was very detailed and helpful for me. I'm glad she went through watercolor and colored pencil techniques. Also, her anatomy lessons in the basic anime bodies section were so detailed, it could probably apply to other styles of art.

The teacher is very clear in her descriptions and provides a lot of very helpful information concerning the shapes of bones and muscles, as well as how these affect what we see on the surface. So far I've had a great time with this course and have managed to draw a lot of figures which i would have thought were waaaay above my level.

I have spent the worse part of 5 years trying to learn to draw people and spent way too much money on how to draw courses. I picked up this course because it was advertised as being done traditionally instead of digital. Which is rarely done. In the past, I have struggled to follow other courses that draw digitally, due to not being able to follow along digitally my self. However, the instructor actually draws step by step with the camera zoomed on her work, and she explains the drawing process in incredibly simple way. I am gaining confidence drawing people from my imagination through this course, thank you.

I am really, really enjoying this class and getting a lot of value out of it. The structure is small-group style, not lecture hall-style. The instructor talks like a normal person, sometimes misspeaks and corrects, and it feels real. I don't like classes that have every single word perfectly polished and I feel like I'm watching a voice-dubbed new-hire training video. It's like I'm working one-on-one with the instructor, and I have her side recorded for replay. The pace is brisk, which I like, because these are videos and I can replay and adjust speed as desired. I can't deal with videos that talk at length and leave me hanging, doodling while I wait for something useful. I want content, not filler, and this course has it. I'm improving with each lesson I take. I like the content, I like the production and delivery, and will definitely view more courses with this instructor.

This is a wonderful course and I find Christina's teaching method spectacular. It may not be for everyone, but Christina's teaching method is exactly the sort of method that inspires motivation and realistic expectations. She is very laid back, down to earth and relatable in her teaching style. Using real time videos of drawing and narration she adopts a conversational tone that feels like she's your personal mentor having a chat, she makes the odd mistake in her work which she corrects and uses as teaching points, which I love as it shows that even someone of her skill level makes mistakes and shows how to correct them. This method of teaching is a step away from the traditional "flawless teacher" attitude that is all over education, there is nothing wrong with this method, but it is refreshing to have a teacher that is so down to earth and relatable; something that I feel, in art, is very necessary. I didn't expect to also get a biology lesson from this course! Using all the muscle groups to describe how to draw the body might not be original but Christina does it in a way that makes you feel like anyone can understand and master drawing of the human figure. My drawing is improving with every video as with each one something new slots into place. I love this course, I know I will be referring to it many times in the future and am looking forward to purchasing more of Christina's courses in future to support her motivational teaching style

The course content covered is good and the course creator definately knows how to draw. As for her ability to teach, it's non existent. There are no/few exercises and explanations are messy. I've tried to like the course, but genuinely don't know if I'm learning anything. I'll try to push through the rest of the course and see if my opinion changes. I'll update my review then.
