learning a lot out of your course. Helped me a lot as an absolute beginner. I was overwhelmed from other tutorials because there was no step by step on how to make full bodies of the characters. Not only that but she discusses about perspective and interested in background as well. Seen her artworks and she is very talented.

Her long vids where you shows and repeating your process actually helped me remember what to do and how to do it. Watching the proses unfold was awesome.

Having a really good experience this far , and i am really glad to tell you guys that I am pretty much enjoying this course. Not it only helped me to grow as an artist but also helped me to have fun while drawing and creating my artworks Thanks guys , peaceout ✌️

Desde pequeña he sido aficionada al manga y al anime y también a dibujar con este tipo de estilo. Con el tiempo, tuve que dejar de lado mi afición, pero este verano me dije que, si el dibujo me hacía feliz ¿por qué no seguir con mi afición y mejorar? Quería un curso que me enseñara principalmente a colorear correctamente mis dibujos (sombras, composición de colores, etc) y este curso me ha enseñado muchísimo más. He aprendido a crear escenarios, fondos, composición, técnicas de ilustración desde el planteamiento del personaje hasta su ilustración final, entre otras muchas cosas. Personalmente, el estilo de dibujo de la profesora me gusta mucho, es muy dulce y pulido. Si que es cierto que hay videos muy largos, pero entiendo que la técnica requiere su tiempo, y personalmente prefiero tener un video largo al que puedo aumentar la velocidad o ir avanzando si ya conozco algo, que no un video corto que me deje con dudas. Otra cosa que me ha gustado es que proporciona muchos materiales de sus videos (siluetas, bocetos, técnica de gestos, ...). He podido practicar poco pero ya he visto una gran mejoría en mi técnica, así que en cuanto pueda dedicarle más tiempo, seguro que mis dibujos mejoran muchísimo. ¡Gracias!

I wanted to like this course. At first glance, it is a very comprehensive course, but here are my issues with it: 1. The instructor fumbles a lot with her work, from the occasional technical issue to adjustments in her work, like resizing, and redoing, to the white noise and background notifications. I get that learning art is trial and error, but I would expect ME to be the one to make those mistakes. 2. The instructor frequently has trouble choosing words to describe her work and spaces out quite a lot. After a while, it would start to get annoying. It is not a very concise process for a recorded class. Since we tend to rewind some portions of the video that are not clear, we'd have to hear those fillers and mistakes again. My recommendation to make this better is to record the entire work in one go, edit out the issues in the process, and then record the voice-over in a coherent manner, perhaps script it in advance, so your thoughts are more collected and composed. Some good takeaways: I managed my first manga drawing, although I knew jack about drawing in general. The drawing exercise and tips helped me get a head start on learning to use my drawing app and tablet. I went as far as the 15th lesson before losing interest.

bought this course for about 10 dollars or so but the course tops my expectations. its very much detailed, straight to the point, no skips or fast forwards and the length of the course can get overwhelming but its worth it. don't think i'll even complete this course this year even. i'd recommend this course to both those wanting to learn anime character design and also digital drawing beginners. its worth every penny

English is not my main language, so some things may sound weird, sorry First of all, this course is 100% beginner friendly and intuitive. The instructor explains everytime about the thought process behind everything she does, so you can really understand what you're doing, and can use this thought process for your pieces as well The lessons can be long, and it may take some time for you do be able to do how she does, just remember she has a lot of experience, and don't be frustrated! you'll get there sometime, just keep working Some parts, like hair, are still kinda hard for me even with lessons about it, the Still life one is complicated too, but this is not the course focus. As said before, some lessons are long, and you can really absorb a lot of stuff from it, like the sketching a design for a character, looking for inspirations and etc. This really helps to develop an original character even if you're not creative. I'm currently finishing the final illustration along with the intructor, and so far, it's really good I do not recomend that much for backgrounds tho, is not bad, but there's not really much time to go in depth with it, and you don't do colored backgrounds Overall, if you're a complete beginer, or someone who wants to learn new techniques for anime characters, I'd recommend 10/10

Loved the way she has explained every step. Helps the beginners. The best thing is I can work with her, her pace is not too fast, it’s easier to catch up to her while I am drawing with her. I pause rarely thanks to her. Her voice is peaceful to hear, so it doesn’t make it boring at all. Loved the content.

This is a long course but if you want to make awesome Manga/Anime illustrations then this is the course to take. Christina is not only an excellent artist but she takes the time to explain everything she does and how she thinks about the process of creating her art. If you take this course and pay attention to it there is no excuse not to become a great Manga/Anime illustrator.
