For me, the most difficult part of learning Airflow has been simply installing and running it. With this course, I had an Airflow environment running for practice purposes within minutes. This also gave me a far better understanding of the core components of Airflow, as well as what is actually needed to run it. The subsequent lectures quickly lets the student build a full example pipeline. The delivery is short and to the point, presenting key features of Airflow along with a simple hands-on example to see it in action. I'm 3/4 through the course and still haven't experienced any issues in running any of the examples - everything just works.

Overall, the explanations are pretty good. Docker could be a suggestion, but not a mandatory tool for this course - or more base knowledge on Docker should be provided. Also, there are some commands and GUI features used that have been changed or are deprecated. Another suggestion would be to build different types of DAGs, not only basic ETL, including running scripts etc., and focus more on logs/alerts and data transfers between tasks.

I have been using Oozie and this course helped me in understanding all things about Airflow with simple examples. This course is comprehensive and organized well. I could try all the examples while doing the course. I learned what I need to learn in a few days. I don't feel like instructor lead course as this is a power-point presentation.

I am so glad I did not listen to the negative reviews on this course. I took another Airflow course here in Udemy and that was a big waste of time. I wish I started with this course. Udemy should put this course at the top to save people from wasting their time with the different options. The concepts are explained very well. I like how he explains what are in the directories folder and what things are for, and how everything is connected. You are getting a bird's eye view of the topic prior to diving in. I like the instructor's teaching style, and will gladly take any of his other courses in the future. Thank you for creating this course. I don't have prior Airflow experience, but I feel ready for the job assigned to me at work now.

Absolutely loved the course. Tutor has explained every concept very very well with fine grain details. Though I was using Airflow from quite some time now but after taking this course I got to know so many other things that otherwise I would have never known. Highly recommended for anyone who is/planning to use Airflow.

Pretty good except some of the lectures were very visual (I use a screen reader because I'm blind) and there were lots of visual elements like click here, etc, but the course provided code resources with the python code in them so it was great because then I could see what was going on.

Thanks - This is a very good detail oriented course for Airflow and would certainly help anyone beginning with Airflow. Appreciate the trainer's efforts. Some suggestions to make it better - 1) Please include a section on Airflow in production like scenario or in the cloud e.g. a platform like Cloud Composer 2) Have a second full fledged exercise after the advanced section like the one in the beginning 'store sales report' . The same project can be re used with additional exercise or a fresh one. It would be even better if it had some data pipeline with one of the bigdata technologies. Thanks again, Gautam

I found this course quite satisfying. the instructor has explained all the concepts in a very simple language which is easy to understand even if someone doesn't have too much of programming background. Quizzes and assignments check your knowledge to a good extent. The course even covers advance concepts as much they are required. Must go course to learn Airflow and use it in your projects.

The content was descriptive, but keeping focus on to the key concepts rather than driving away to other topic. I would personally feel a little more content would do no harm to the course content. I started this course when I started to work on an airflow project in my company and this course was very much helpful. I could create custom hooks, leverage Google Cloud hooks as well by following the practical sessions. Now setting up an airflow dag seems very easy. Also the complex dags too.

The lessons were very hands-on and very simple to follow. The instructor clearly explained every lessons with examples. At the end of the course, learners would have a good understanding of airflow features and its potential to be used in the real world scenarios. Excellent course. I really enjoyed it. Thanks.
