Course Description
Hello, welcome to ARM 64-bit Assembly Language from x-BIT Development.
This course is intended to teach you ARM 64-bit assembly programming with Raspberry Pi. It covers basics about computer architecture, data representation and low-level programming. If you want to build your own operating system or write bare-metal programs on Raspberry Pi, you will need assembly language to communicate directly with a CPU and hardware. In this course, we will take you through the step-by-step tutorials and teach you how to write assembly programs for ARM processors. We also have a course for building an operating system on Raspberry Pi 3 and Raspberry Pi 4. If you are a beginner and want to build an operating system on Raspberry Pi, you can take the os course once you learned ARM 64-bit assembly language.
In ARM 64-bit Assembly Language course, each section contains:
engaging videos.
downloadable resources.
quizzes to test what you learned.
In this course you will learn:
ARM assembly language from scratch.
The general computer architecture.
Data representation(unsigned and signed integers, characters) and counting systems.
Basic boolean logic.
The fundamentals of the assembly language.
AArch64 core instructions.
How to write procedures using calling convention.
How to write assembly language programs on ARM64 architecture.

This course was quite good and comprehensive. While the author's accent was a little difficult to understand at first, it didn't detract from the overall quality of the content. Five stars!

This course basically follows a semester-long college-level curriculum for assembly language. As such it is excellent. The last part -- Bare Metal Programming -- assumes considerably greater understanding of systems. While this "capstone project" struck me as a great way to end the course, it is very ambitious and the authors do not provide enough context. I am working on a Raspberry Pi 5 and couldn't get the last project to work. Even so, I still recommend the class as an excellent introduction to assembly language.

Easy to follow, practical instructions for hands-on practice with the compiler and debugger on the RPi, I am 1h into the course and I love it ! and look forward progressing

details about interrupts handling them, creating the vector table all those details could have been explaind. But with whatever is explained, instructor has done a great job

Though I've just started this course recently, it seems advantageous for me since I bought a raspberry pi 4 lately for learning computer architecture as well as reverse engineering and many in the future.

This course was thoroughly excellent from beginning to the final lecture. The pace of approximately 4min per lecture was very easy to understand and logically easy to incrementally build the student's learning. Each of the individual lectures' transcript was superb and very helpful. The lecturer was very easy to understand and his pace of instruction was extraordinary. I highly recommend this course. If there will be a follow on course concerning the ARM 64-bit Assembly Language programming of math functions, I will readily sign up and enroll in it. The course lecturer really demonstrated command of the subject matter and was easy to follow.

Great course. It gave me exactly what I needed, which is an understanding of ARM 64 assembly programming. The bare metal programming at the end was a nice bonus as well. Thank you!

Extraordinary beginner level explains plain what I need to know. I already know some stuff, very good entry level course. Everything written makes it easier to follow.

This is a solid, introductory ARM assembly language course that is both focused and practical. It has enough basic background and code to guide one over; this is particularly useful for someone coming with some level of understanding with computer architecture concepts. The instructor's accent can be hard to understand at first, but nothing that can't be solved by using captions or slowing down the speed of the video. The instructor's delivery appears to be based on notes being read, but the content is effective and repetition of some details is well used throughout videos; this is specially helpful when one goes through the course at a slow pace. Last, questions are answered quickly and the code presented works as expected. All in all, this course served my needs well.
