Asp.Net Core 10 (.NET 10) | True Ultimate Guide (Udemy.com)

ASP .NET Core | Asp.Net Core Projects | Bootcamp | Advanced | Interview Questions | Web API | MVC | SOLID Principles

Created by: Web Academy by Harsha Vardhan

Last updated September 2026

Our take

Based on the ratings of 8,132 students and a sample of their written reviews, the syllabus, the course as of September 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.

This is the long one in the ASP.NET category: about 87 hours across 432 lectures and 24 sections, from HTTP and middleware through routing, controllers, Razor views, dependency injection, EF Core, xUnit, Moq, Serilog, filters, SOLID and Clean Architecture. Harsha Vardhan teaches it slowly and in order, with an assignment and a set of interview questions at the end of most sections. It is aimed at people who already know C# and want a senior-level understanding of the framework, not at complete beginners.

Reviewers praise the depth. One says it covers things other courses gloss over, another that the theory behind each feature is explained rather than just typed, and two call the section-end interview questions useful preparation. The complaints are consistent too. The one and two-star reviews call it verbose and repetitive, with long videos, stretches of silence and simple ideas explained at length. One reviewer wanted more real-world examples and a proper project, another disliked that the Web API material runs inside the same MVC project rather than being built separately, and a four-star review notes some sections are starting to feel dated.

Value is hard to argue with. The course was refreshed in September 2026, about 54,000 students are enrolled, and 91 percent of its 8,100 reviews give four or five stars. Next to the project-based Web API and Angular courses in this category it is the reference book rather than the tutorial. Buy it to have every corner of ASP.NET Core explained, and plan on using the playback speed slider. People who would rather build one app end to end will be happier with the e-commerce MVC course that sits beside it.

Best forC# developers who want one long, theory-first course covering MVC, Web API, testing and Clean Architecture ahead of job interviews.
Skip it ifYou want a fast, project-driven Web API course, or you lose patience when a simple concept gets explained three times.

Pros

  • Interview questions and an assignment close most sections, and reviewers call them useful preparation
  • xUnit, Moq, EF Core and Clean Architecture each get hours of coverage instead of a single lecture
  • Explains the theory behind each feature and fixes runtime errors on camera, so troubleshooting gets taught too
  • Refreshed in September 2026 for .NET 10, with 52 assignments and 68 articles alongside the videos

Cons

  • Verbose and repetitive: low-star reviews cite long videos, silent stretches and simple ideas explained at length
  • Web API is taught inside the same MVC project, and some reviewers wanted a standalone real-world project
  • Assumes intermediate C#, HTML, JavaScript and SQL, so it is not a first course, and one reviewer found the accent hard
Very well crafted course. All the details covered from basics to advanced. Interview questions at the end of each section are extremely helpful.
Ananda Ingale, a student

Listed as All Levels, but the requirements ask for intermediate C#, front-end basics and SQL; it is a second course, not a first.

STUDENTS FEEDBACK - over 350 students - 5 star rated:

1. "Pretty Great structured course, attention to details & important concepts, no rushing or skipping, amazing explanation skill, good & clear voice, excellent video quality & presentation. I 100% recommend this course to anyone want's to learn ASP.NET. Getting this course was one of the best decisions i've made to my career & i assure everyone to do it too. I'm going to buy the Microservices course from the Instructor soon." - Mohammed Mohsen

2. "This course is by far the best deal I've seen in a very long time. The instructor is not exaggerating when he describes it as the 'True Ultimate Guide'. Just about everything one needs to know as a developer is included, and then some: each one of the sections on Entity Framework, Unit Testing and Identity/Authorization could have been sold as separate courses but they're included here at no additional cost, truly amazing. Of course, none of that would be of any value if the content was not instructional, but that's not the case here: the instructor is quite knowledgeable, and all the explanations are concise and to the point. The pace is quick on easy topics but slower and very detailed on the more difficult ones." - Zamkam

3. "This course is beyond the expectation. As a person who has read Microsoft documentation, and watched a lot of videos, and also read so many books about ASP.NET, I am confident to tell you to join this course not only 100% but, 1500%. What I found awesome about this course: - The order, in which the concepts are thought is magical. - The detail and the information in the content of the course are unbelievably wonderful. - The course got updated with wonderful stuff. By using this course, we would not need more than 1 year in a company to become a senior developer I believe. Thank you very very much Harsha for this wonderful course. Please add as much as content you can in your C# and ASP.NET course, because the way you teach is a miracle." - Hamed Homaee

4. "Excellent explanation, good fonts, good pace, so - brilliant course! And yes, finally - it's COMPLETE guide! Not just 10 hours or even less. Thank you for that kind of work!" -- Valera Znak

5. "Highly Recommended! This course is well-organized, easy to follow and covers a wide range of topics. The instructor takes time to thoroughly explain each topic and provide examples to help illustrate their points, which is incredibly helpful in gaining a deeper understanding of ASP.NET Core." -- Nisarg Gami

6. "This course is pretty amazing. The concepts are been taught in such a way that it becomes easier for anyone to understand them clearly and quickly. Also, the assignments and interview questions help a lot in testing our knowledge and giving us good exposure to attending a real interview exam. The assignment question helps us in implementing our learning by solving the questions." -- Pushkar Sharad Kaswankar

7. "Everything is meticulously prepared. It's nice to have cheat sheet." -- Ekrem Kangal

8. "Hi Mister Harsha! First of all, this is a great course. I am impressed with the coverage of the topics, the interview questions, the assignments, and the answers to those assignments. I know that it takes a lot of your time, effort, and patience to do this. Could you please tell me how you were able to achieve this. I mean, how do you always feel motivated, and how do you keep up this kind of energy." - Pushpa MH

Top reasons - why should you opt this course over the other courses

  • The course is facilitated (instructed) by the lead instructor - Mr. Harsha Vardhan, one of the most popular trainer for in-person training programs with top IT companies in India.

  • This course is up-to-date with .NET 8 to 10 and promised to keep it up-to-date for future releases of .NET and Asp .Net Core.

  • The course is constantly updated with new content on newer topics, new projects determined by the students - that's you!

  • You will build your portfolio project (a Stocks Trading Platform) through guidance provided by the Instructor (also, source code is provided to help you to rescue you in case if you stuck somewhere and to check quality of your code).

  • Many developers may feel challenged when they need to face technical interviews. To address this problem, we've included a comprehensive set of interview questions to test yourself before facing any technical interview on Asp .Net Core.

  • Coding is not the game of listening and following someone. You will have proper understanding of the subject only when you apply it on a meaningful application. So essential coding exercises (assignments) are provided in each section. So you will try each of them - and get instructor's source code and help when you stuck somewhere or become clue-less at certain point.

  • The definitions, best practices, diagrams presented in the course videos, are provided as 'Section cheat sheet' at the end of respective section. So you can use it as a moment of reference & revision, to recollect and apply what have you learnt from that section.

  • Advanced concepts such as xUnit, Moq, Serilog, Fluent Assertions, Repository Pattern, Clean Architecture, SOLID Principles, Unit testing and Integration testing, Asp .Net Core Identity are presented in the course, along with a promise to keep it up to date. So it's a future-proof course.

  • Professional developer best practices are included and explained in respective sections wherever necessary.

  • All topics are explained from scratch. So you need not worry about your prior knowledge / experience in Asp .Net Core. The only main prerequisites of this course are - C# and HTML.

  • Even, you need not much worry about advanced topics of C#; because brush-up lectures on the key concepts of C# such as Extension Methods, LINQ, Nullable reference types etc., are included as a extra section in this course.

  • Teaching methodology: Picture first - visualize and define everything before jumping into a new topic.

Definitely a 5/5 Course on ASP.NET core from fundamentals to advanced topics, I randomly came through this course while struggling with some of the topics in ASP.NET Core and I would say this is the best course available on Udemy or maybe on other platforms as well, if you are thinking to take this course, trust me take this and you won't regret it.

By Luis Julian De La Torre Aguilar on 8/16/2026

It is a great course, makes a deep and wide exploration of the .Net Core Framework environment and it's components to become a full fledged .Net Developer. Some of the content is getting a little outdated due to evolving nature of the framework and due to few changes in current coding practices and deprecated libraries and some sections can feel overwhelming or oversaturated due to the length of these. For future improvements the sections should be shorter and more to the point because those end up feeling way too long. I hope that this course keep getting continuously updated with current coding practices, more updated libraries and with the newer versions and features of the .Net environment. Overall its a great course with A LOT of value and knowledge of .Net, just save some time for it because is long.

By Tim O'Rourke on 6/14/2026

The course if clear and well laid out. I like that when there are any runtime problems, the instructor will fix them as we go. So, we also get some troubleshooting instruction at the same time. The course goes into detail on many aspects of ASP.NET Core that are simply glossed over in most courses. It's a real deep dive into ASP.NET Core with MVC.

I finished this course about 2 months ago, but I hadn't come back to leave my feedback until now. Long story short: this course teaches you everything you actually need to know to become a .NET developer. No shallow videos that just spit code on the screen and tell you you're a programmer now. Mr. Harsha ALWAYS makes sure to explain the theory behind every single concept, which helps you truly absorb the knowledge and build a super solid foundation. Yes, it's over 80 hours of content, but you don't expect to become a developer with just 3 hours of studying, right? I really want to thank Mr. Harsha for this incredible material. Thanks to this foundation, I landed my first job as a .NET developer! I've been applying a lot of things on a daily basis, including more advanced concepts that even surprised my mentors hahaha. All of it learned right here. If you are looking for a well-structured course with extreme attention to detail, just go for it. It's my go-to recommendation for anyone who asks me how they should study ASP.NET. I've already bought the .NET Microservices and Angular course; I'm just waiting for the right time to start it. Thank you so much, Mr. Harsha!

Spend effort to explain basic but critical concept which usually other trainer does not go so indept. The basic is critical when developing real life application, which could become quite difficult if we do not have a good foundation.

By Justin Hsu on 4/1/2026

Hey there! I am writing this review after I have completed the course. Overall, this is a very comprehensive course that will teach you both MVC and Web API. Here is what I think: 1. The first 25 sections of this course is critical to understanding how full-stack development works. If you try to rush it, you will definitely not get a full understanding of how ASP.NET Core works. 2. If you decide to take this course, the notes as well as the cheat sheets (for most sections) are there to help you retain what you learned. However, it would also be helpful for you to take your own notes. Make sure you watch the videos at least once uninterrupted. Then, watch them again and take your own notes (as well as typing and trying out code for yourself). 3. Definitely do the assignments. Those will also help you retain what you learned. 4. Sections 26 and 27 are the most critical to understand how Web API works. In addition, if you don't have knowledge of Angular, that is ok. You can skip Sections 28 and 29 and try to learn Angular first and then come back to those sections later. 5. You must have at least some knowledge of C#, HTML, CSS, and JS before taking this course. Otherwise, if you do not meet the prerequisites, you will definitely struggle getting through it all. My biggest drawback is that some of the course material uses an older .NET Version (like .NET 6). While that may not be a dealbreaker for some who just want to know how ASP.NET Core works, when trying to use the latest .NET versions, sometimes the implementations that are done could become deprecated, meaning it doesn't really work in newer .NET versions. So, if you want to code along, you should use the same .NET version and package versions as the instructor is using, and then you can try to do it in a newer .NET version and newer package versions and try to look up the solutions if things don't go as planned. Otherwise, this is definitely a great course to those who want to know how ASP.NET Core works.

Excellent course! Clear explanations, practical examples, and well-organized content. Harsha is an outstanding instructor. Highly recommended for anyone serious about mastering ASP.NET Core.

By Ricky Bon on 2/20/2026

I really like the way Harsha explains the concepts, going step by step in bite-sized chunks, from the basics to advanced topics. I give this course 5 stars and highly recommend it because, besides being easy to understand, it is very complete and covers all the important aspects of the ASP.NET Core framework, including general topics related to MVC and Web API as well as more specific ones. Great course!

By Filippo De Angelis on 2/6/2026

Prepare to consume your right arrow button. This course is excessively verbose. The teacher spends minutes explaining concepts that can be grasped within seconds, and it's all wrapped in repetitive information. With that said I guess the course is exhaustive and useful, but if you're like me and you tend to lose focus when someone is explaining something well after you understood it you'd better get another course.

By Mohamed Koshaik on 11/3/2025

Hi Harsha, just wanted to say thank you very much. I completed this course a month ago and totally recommend it to anyone who is starting or wants to be a .NET developer. You explain everything with absolute detail, and I just wanted to say thank you for your efforts
