Avid Pro Tools: Audio Recording For Beginners In Pro Tools (Udemy.com)

It is good, was a bit fast at the beginning I felt as the pro tools interface was different. Also I wish that there was the commands shown for Windows too, but I know but so that wasn't personally an issue.

I've been a home studio artist since my teens. In my late twenties, I worked with another artist who had advised me that Pro Tools was industry standard, so I knew I would eventually need to invest toward that goal. Learning the basics with him, I wanted to make sure the knowledge I had from previous music editing software as well as my experience with this other artist translated well. While I have PC, I didn't find that this course hindered in my finding my PC buttons, but it would be nice if the PC equivalent keyboard commands were also "subtitled" and not assumed to be a Mac user's course. This was a good course, I feel more proficient and I feel I paid the course fee equivalent to the value I received from it. Thank you.

Only showing commands and tools as they in turn are being used w/in the project/example vs. providing overview of the various components present on screen all at once. As I have taken other 'beginner' classes on the software, the instructors approach works well as a 'brush up/refresher' for me. Not sure how I would feel about this approach w/out some (limited) prior contact with the software. Good commentary from on why/what instructor is doing as he progresses through the lesson. Finding the pace and content very helpful.

This was a good match thus far the material the instructor has gone over is review for me, however they are giving more depth explanation on the main components of the program

I was looking for a refresher on PT, there was some good basic knowledge, didn't have all the things I was looking for such as setting up a FB mix, using Reverbs/Effects on Auxs plus how to solo them, and Elastic Audio. For those completely new to PT, Audio Recording and Mixing a good place to start and good value for money. The lessons are explained well and clearly and the tutor has done a good job delivering the course.
