Course Description

V2.
0 SEP2021 - AZ-304 updates have started. New and updated videos being added.
Complete preparation for the Azure AZ-301 exam.
FREEUPGRADE: This course will also contain the AZ-304 content when that exam is released.
Microsoft Azure is a skill in high demand in today's large business marketplace.
According to Microsoft,Azure is being used by 85% of the Fortune 500 companies, particularly with their hot Office 365 suiteUse ofAzure has grown 90% year-over-yearSalary survey sites report thatAzure Architects earn US$130,000 to US$170,000 per yearacross the United StatesMicrosoft has more than 100 data centers, across 54 regions and 10 geos, making it one of the largest data centers in the world.
This course also goes through the requirements of the Azure AZ-301 exam: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, section by section. I'm quite confident that this is the most complete training course targeted specifically at the exam. While the technology world is full of "buzzwords" and "flavors of the month", the cloud is a real paradigm shift in the way solutions are designed and architected. There are now so many reasons why you should include Azure cloud technology in the design of your solution that there are almost no reasons why not to do it.
Cost savings is the one that catches the attention of businesses. Some companies are spending millions of dollars per month of their ITinfrastructure, and every few years that hardware needs to be repaired andupgraded. Being able to reduce capital investment and essentially rent powerful equipment on demandis quite a lot of upfront savings.
If you add in the scalability, flexibility, and worldwide reach of the cloud and the technology group sees the potential as well. You can truly do more with less.
This course goes through all of the requirements of the Microsoft exam AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design. Multiple videos are devoted to each sub-objective, and we cover the topic thoroughly.
Most of the courses and content you find online assume you already have expert knowledge of Azure and just tells you what to study, spending only seconds covering entire objectives. I can confidently say this course goes deep on everything you need to know.
If you AREalready an expert at many Azure topics, you can easily skip the sections that you already know and focus on the ones you have not yet had much exposure too. This is the benefit of having the complete course.
Each section has additional web-based resources for you to do further research and expand your knowledge beyond the requirements of the exam.

Scott Duffy 415.000+ Students

Hi there, my name is Scott Duffy. And I love making complex technical topics easy to understand.
This has been the basis of my entire career as a developer, as a development manager, as a software architect over the past 20 years. I spend half my time in the world of business, explaining complex technical topics to business owners and stakeholders so that they can understand and agree with my approach to solving their business problems with technical solutions. And the other half with developers, explaining the business reasons behind decisions and ensuring that any decisions made on the technical side don't restrict the business in unexpected ways.
And I'm here on Udemy to teach what I know in an approachable way. I started teaching courses in 2014, and have taught over 415,000 students. I am grateful every day with being able to connect with so many students in almost every country around the world.
I'm a certified Enterprise Architect and certified cloud architect.I have been developing with Microsoft technologies for 20 years, starting with Classic ASP, and all the versions of .NET. We now live in the cloud era, with Microsoft Azure being prevalent in mostlarge enterprises. I'm certified as an Azure Architect and Developertoo. As well as AWSSolution Architect Associate (SAA).
Certified as an MCT by Microsoft.

a little bit short compared to 300/301 and not completely updated yet for the new exam, but still very useful for passing exam AZ-304

By Gurmeet Pawa on 11/21/2020

Covers end to end Architecture Design considerations. Not sure what else is needed for Certification - specifics for exams. Regardless of exam, it is a great course!

By William Griffin on 11/1/2020

Great overview of the material, some practice tests or quizzes would be nice improvement. I've worked with Azure for a bit before and this tied a lot of concepts together nicely. I passed the 304 exam. ?

Just finished Scott's AZ-303 course and looking forward to diving into the AZ-304 course! Scott is an excellent instructor who I highly recommend.

By Gilad Karasin on 10/12/2020

Too many slides. hope to see more examples in Azure portal

By Alan Mem Aslan on 10/4/2020

Thanks for course. But you can't just do it as overview of everything.

By Madjid Rassamanesh on 10/3/2020

The strategy and solutions, supposed to be the focus of this course, are not completely explained, it is more focusing on the azure features, switch on or off here there; suggest to layout a case study / problem / requirement and use some slides to resolve the problem and then later demo it on azure.
