I was looking more for the basics of BIND not setting up an actual LAB or DNS server specifically for red hat / centOS. Overall content was good though.

This is too old to be worth your time, there have been so many changes that commands the instructor uses are gone. I came back to set up my name server and now PHP is not working. I reduced my rating from 4.5 to 3 because of the lack of description about forward and reverse look up.

For me the course was informative and I learnt alot. Hopefully I can introduce this in a Live environment where I can begin my Linux journey

The "lab" work is just copy and paste of the commands in the slides. They assume the user has never used Linux before and there were several occasions where the instructor tried to run a command to then reply with a sentence like "this is not on my machine, we will cover it in later" . If running a command to show the system is working (nmap or nslookup) these should have been installed before the lab.

I did not have a previous knowledge about BIND and this course helped me to understand how does it work and configue it on my virtual environment with no problems. Maybe you should add presentation in download section. Good job!

Short well structured sessions. Although had to search for some solutions for specific problems with running CentOS on Vagrant machine, was able to set server and make it working in less than an hour. Without any prior DNS knowledge at all -- this is perfect! What I'd suggest is to include texts used in presentation, named.conf and zone files. Another improvement is to explain just a bit deeper concept of zones, and why writing this format and what it all means (e.g. configuration line and explanation what it means in plain English). Overall course matched the expectation. Thanks you, Yogesh.
