I really felt this to be the best KVM course on UDEMY.. I wish you would do a newer version and update it. You have the best teaching I have found. I want more.. I love that you do the command line and show the real power of KVM. Please do more and upgrade, if not then do a Virtualbox style and show the command line options.. Everyone wants easy but have no idea how much their missing not using the Command line. Thanks for your course.

it was not to clear at first how to make the centos 7 vm machine and how to setup the network there was not a step by step process, which make the rest of the course unusable due to the lack of compatibility with the OS, i just copied the commands for future use but could not replicate in my enviroment

Yogesh, thanks for providing this training. I have been using KVM for a long while now and still needed to learn a few things which I found in Sections 3, 4 and 5. Wish you the best with your upcoming training videos. Thank you. - Nate

For the first time after watching this course I managed to install and use KVM. All thanks to you and your course, I just wish you can go deeper on networking and storage topics. Nonetheless good intro to KVM and it has helped me a lot. Well done Thanks

Sehr interessanter Kurs. Gesamt: bin zufriden

Even though it's a starter course I did expect it to be more in-depth than what it is. The networking part needs to be expanded as it's critical to the whole VM landscape. I'm still unsure about how it should be correctly configured.

Excellent course for people who want to learn KVM at a functional level. It would have been great if the instructor would have touched on some advanced topics like pooling of multiple servers running KVM or guest performance monitoring through command line as well as guest file system repair in detail. Installing and configuring KVM on Ubuntu, would have been a bonus. There was no mention on KVM security. He should have dwelved into that area as well. Having said that, it is a fantastic course for people who want a functional knowledge of KVM and put it in use on a day-to-day basis.

Hi, There is some problem with the transcriptions on the sessions, it's realy pitty. You must reread the transcriptions before to post them, because even if i understand english, the system doesn't retranscript correctly the quality of your explications, and we loss time and informations. best regards

I found myself having to repeat the video or at least pause the video in order to ensure I had proper notes or just wanted to do the same trials in the lab. A slow pace or addition of labs would make this educational material better. I also noticed that when I did do labs, knowledge of certain thing about KVM were required. Specifically, I had to look up some virsh commands that were later covered in the course. However, to do some of the labs, I needed these commands earlier. might want to move the some materials around and get the basic commands in place earlier. Like virsh shutdown procedures or start .. etc Otherwise, by the end... a lot was covered.

I've used Xen and HyperV for some time but just never got around to working with KVM. This is a nice short course on the Linux built-in hypervisor solution and covered just enough information to get things going. Instructor very knowledgeable. The only area of improvement that I think would be nice is to spend some more time on GUI interfaces. CLI is nice and very much needed but at a point most datacenters just switch to GUI interfaces. Well worth the time to take the course.
