This course is excellent, the material is presented well and is easy to understand. The instructor has a strong command of the subject. The only downside is that sometimes we need a zoom-in feature for code visibility, especially when watching learning videos on mobile devices (smartphones).

It keeps getting better and better for me to understand this class now because i have an opportunity to download MAMP Server and Workbench just like you said in the video and i am getting the same result as well. Thank You . Lecturer!!!

Pretty well summarized concepts. Although it feels a bit incomplete, it's good enough to know the fundamental basics or to refresh the concepts

Though the author types some error sometimes, it's a good way to learn how to debug quickly. It's useful for newbie of database to touch some new things.

Would have liked it even better if it focused only on RDBMS, and left NoSQL aside. Examples used for joins / aggregates could be chosen better. Indexes need to be emphasized when the topic contains the word "Design"

This course is great for a beginner as the instructor has been clear throughout the video with the content and has used live examples to make it more clear.

Section 2 was great with explaining and showing how to utilize SQL. Section1 and Section3 was a section where the instructor was inputting commands back to back in each video at a fast pace and then going onto the next subject. Section 2 was great though

The course is very helpful. Even though the Section 1 does not cover any coding, the next sessions have them clearly explained. The Only problem is that the section2 and section3 are incomplete. Waiting for the update.

I have learn that what the database is and how the database works with a structure of server . Also learn the types of commands that we are gonna be used in database systems . Types of tables, views and stored procedures are to be learned.
By Megan Ellingwood on 1/8/2020
The first thing I wanted to note is that the second and third sections of the intro lesson are switched, which was confusing. Also, I worried at first because he jumped into a SQL database already made without context such as "I'm using this database to help you visualize the terms I'm discussing, no need to worry about making this database". Lastly, his misspelling of words is rather frequent and it started to interfere with the lesson flow. However, I'm going to stick with the course and see if the flow and feel of the course improves. The second part of the lesson, learning to create a database, goes much better. I would have liked this course first, or a mention in the first part that creating a database will be covered in the second part.
