Can hardly hear the bass in the demonstrations, especially when compared to the drums app and the lack of on screen tab / music info isn't helpful

If you have never picked up a bass guitar before and know nothing about music theory, then this course could be a good place to start.

Love how the instructor is so engaging and you can tell that he just loves playing the bass and just wants to share his expertise with everybody and I just hope that I can be just as enthusiastic in my bass playing.

As the course title says, more rock, less drama. The only gripe is that the bass guitar volume is too low. can't hardly hear while the instructor is playing it. It will also help if he added some visual presentations.

I had a great time watching the lessons, they were neatly organized, well communicated, thoroughly explained and always to-the-point. Steve is a great instructor and the whole tutorial granted me with an impulse to go deeper into learning the bass guitar. Strongly recommended!

This course is great. I really like Steve "Bside" the instructor his teaching style is fun and relaxed. Steve has a great way of explaining things without going deep into music theory. If you are new to bass or returning to bass playing then you will love this!

The instructor is personable, and puts the student at ease while learning the material. For a beginning bass player, it's just the right amount per lesson and won't overwhelm the student. My only concern is that I wish the volume of the bass was a bit louder during the examples being played.

I am very happy with this course as I expected less - so I went quickly over the lessons to get a feeling of the whole thing and now I am going to return back to square 1 to stress on learning by enjoying it. Very recommended!

Very charismatic instructor, different from the other instructors I saw in other courses. Talks our language and shows confidence/knowledge in what he's teaching.

The information so far is very basic, but he's mentioning some fundamentals I need reminded of or just haven't thought about before. It never hurts to go back to the basics and re-learn.
