Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Bootcamp (Udemy.com)

Great course. I knew absolutely nothing about Bitcoin, and like the description said - I wanted to be able to have a conversation about it, maybe invest or mine. You can't have an opinion about something from doing "research" on social media or listening to some joker trying to sell you something Got all that and more. I now have a starting point to make decisions about how much I want to be involved. The course is a bit dated, some of the links didn't correspond to the video and I had to go searching the site for something that looked the same. But nothing was actually irrelevant or "out of date" Great stuff, I learned a lot and the guys were funny and knowledgeable, and made even the math/cryptography understandable and fun

I found this to be pitched at exactly the right level – beginner accessible and well illustrated with analogies etc but going into sufficient detail throughout. Really easy to watch/listen to and navigate the course. I would recommend it. The only two critiques are as follows. 1) I would have welcomed slightly more quiz content i.e. more/deeper questions. 2) I have heard some jargon around crypto that wasn’t covered at all (e.g staking, cold storage) so maybe cover these or add a ‘jargon / glossary’ appendix

I took this course just to take a break from the coding courses I am also doing. I thought It would be a fun thing to learn about and the course is not too long so was able to get through in a couple of weeks. I really enjoyed learning about the tech behind crypto and enjoyed the course overall. Delivered by the instructors in a way that was real easy to understand and it's always nice to hear the instructors having a little fun too.

I am a beginner to all these bitcoins, block chain and mining concepts. I have heard many people talking about it. So i thought of taking this course to make myself familiar with these concepts. This course has given me the idea of how these works. Both the instructors are very good at explaining the the concepts with some examples and demo. I have really enjoyed this course. This is a course for beginners as stated and they do cover a good range of topics, the content is definitely there but the delivery is why I marked it down. For the first half of the course they present material and content in an informal podcast manner which wouldn't necessarily be bad but they act like giggling school girls throughout these parts which is beyond distracting and annoying. I lost my patience and skipped some cringe worthy parts, you can tell they're having fun but I did not. I didn't buy the course to hear them banter I bought the course to learn. What you two find humorous and "hee hee haha" at is inane to me and really distracts and even slows the momentum. I'm not even saying don't be lighthearted or don't include some levity but these guys took it to a whole new level with their distracting giggling nonsensical banter.

Colt and Kevin are great at teaching tech concepts in a simple and straightforward way. In the first few sections the instructors are still finding their flow or dynamic together but by the 3rd or 4th section, they are working well trading off and covering the material naturally. Personally I think that the appendix could have just been covered in the normal lessons. At the end of the day I highly recommend this course if you're interested in BTC, Cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.

I am very very happy about this course. This course is very technical, with a lot of informations, well structured and help you to understand the inside of bitcoin and ethereum. I have a much more clear vision of this parallel world now. I will give a special reward to speaker Kevin for its lovely jokes more than welcome when you have to think about maths and graphics in the same time ... ^^. I think i kind of rediscovered colors myself. Anyway, i give a 5, it is a great job done. Thanks guys !!!! PS : somes ressources need to be restored as links are not always working.

This is a decent course to get a from-nothing introduction to how Bitcoin/Ethereum/other cryptocurrencies & blockchain work. But it is entirely theoretical, there is no practical usage of the material being presented. So overall I don't really find it particularly useful, and I would say it is hands down the worst course by Colt Steele here on Udemy.

Nice introductory course, I would probably like it to have an extra chapter (or extended Appendix) for more info on blockchain development, so that anyone interested gets a basic idea where to start and what to expect on this. All in all, a concise experience, short enough not to get bored and long enough to have a quite in-depth knowledge of the overall subject.

For someone who knew absolutely nothing about Bitcoin & other crypto-currencies before completing this course, I have learned a great deal on how Bitcoin actually works behind the scenes & how Bitcoin actually works on the front-end. The course is taught by 2 instructors( Cole & Kevin) that complement each other very well & present a well-organized course on Bitcoin/ Crypto-currency. From this course I learned Bitcoin's Pros, Bitcoin's Cons, how Bitcoin works, how to earn/ receive Bitcoin, how to send Bitcoin, how addresses are created, how to avoid scams, Ethereum Pros, Ethereum Cons, & much more. After completing this course, I went from 0 to between 95-100 in my understanding of Bitcoin & other crypto-currencies. The instructors have a strong understanding of Bitcoin & teach Bitcoin's concepts in a way that, I find, is comprehensible to most students. I enjoyed their enthusiasm throughout the course, as well as their side-line humor. I highly recommend this course to all students, beginner & intermediate, that want to learn more about Bitcoin's back-end & Bitcoin's front-end.
