The course is really helpful to get a profound knowledge of how the hyperledger fabric/composer blockchain works and how you can get started building your own blockchain application. 4.5 stars because some of the provided scripts and learning materials are not up to date and therefore didn't work properly without fixing them by your own. This is a solid course that provides both a fundamental introduction to Distributed Ledger Technology, and a good view of both capabilities and complexities of the current Hyperledger implementation. Rajeev is a domain expert on the topic, and his teaching style is fluid, clear, and professional. He maintains good pacing and wraps-up topics with good concept re-enforcement, quizzes, and exercises. The course description, requirements, warnings, and disclaimers are very relevant, although I would say that coding is not really that extensive; I would highlight that having fundamental experience with Docker will help. All in all, the course provided the information and practice that I expected, and Rajeev did an excellent job on his delivery, as well as taking the time to answer all questions I and others had in a short amount of time. Beyond the course, one needs to emphasize that the current state of Hyperledger Fabric (and related tooling) is a complex mix of a myriad of dependencies across different tools and platforms. As such, it is very easy to take a mis-step related to minor versions of libraries and have things all of a sudden not running. This may prove to be very distracting - or eye opening - if one intends or needs to understand the dependencies and complexities involved in deploying, using, managing, and cost estimating a Hyperledger-based solution.

I found this course is taught like reading according to a book. It's not easy to understand instantly, need to repeat several times to grasp. And when I had an error while practicing, I didn't get much support from the tutor.

I am updating my review. I am now almost 70% done with the course. I feel I have learned a lot from his videos and also his responses from QnA. Raj is a good and kind teacher. My Previous Comment: The setup problems on Windows made this course a bit complicated to work with. Raj is a good teacher and I believe he is trying his best. He replied promptly when I asked some questions but those answers were "best guess" and did not solve the matter at hand. If you are working with Ubuntu or Mac you will be fine and enjoy this course. If he had made the Windows installation easier to execute then I would have given this course atleast 4 or 4.5.

This is one of the best course I had for Hyperledger. Can use it for windows too. The instructions was clear to be able to setup for VM. I did the setup in my Azure VM and it worked. Instructor had really spent much time to setup docker and gith sample. I liked the way the course was structured, clear explanations. I recommend this for Hyperledger starter and intermediate level. Improvement: Please specify the directory you are working with when u execute certain commands in Cygwin. Those who are new to Cygwin might always have doubt on which directory to execute, especially the npm command to generate projects. Add On Request: Please update course to work with Azure Hyperledger product and Azure VM setup. Many would like that. Please publish one more Advanced course(direct to coding) with real use case sample and codes. I would love to try out.

Overall: great course, thanks for some real life examples with ACME, and it's like the only course out there that gives you something more than installation guide. But to suggest an improvement: first like 5 sections are useless, they can be tied to like 1-2, because explaining basic things for people trying to dive into this kind of technologies.. I believe they are familiar with their environments, and there're tons of tutorials(which you particularly describing)(of course I skipped most of them, but still). Also, it's more like Composer course, as Fabric topics covered only in theoretics, but I would like to see chaincode in practice, maybe in a different course at least. But once again, 'course is great and useful, the instructor is very responsive, looking forward to see more material from him.

This is an in-depth course which is applicable to real world. Raj seems to have decent hands on experience on the subject. Each lecture is engaging with a summary at the end of the lecture just to recap and followed by a quiz for most chapters and there were three challenging assignments. After completing this course now I am very confident to work on a real time project. Raj has covered the course right from Architecture patterns to unit testing. Also he has promptly responded to the questions posted. I also liked the link to the important resources, Raj has really worked hard for coming up with course. He has neutral accent at a steady pace. Thanks a lot Raj...my Blockchain Guru! Adding quiz at the end of each and every! lecture and keeping this course up to date would be scope for improvements.

Overall experience was fantastic and certainly helpful in understanding core concepts related to Hyperledger Fabric environment. The real-life application development was really helpful and quite efficiently done. Other than that, i would've liked to see much more detailed sections on certain aspects like - test cases to handle real-life scenarios, automating test cases with each iteration of development and deployment, etc. But nonetheless the instructor did full justice to this course by keeping it to-the-point and concise.

This is the best course on hyperledger fabric and composer for beginners. This course covers everything need to have for hyperledger blockchain developer. The best thing of this course is the things explained using real time ACME airline application and also includes front end application information which is really helpful for backend developer those never worked on it.

I found the course very interesting and well explained. One strength point of the course is a complete overview of HyperLedger Fabric and Composer(infrastructure and application layers). The instructor covers all points necessary to create an application that runs on the blockchain. The explanation is executed with a right pace which allows to do theory and exercises simultaneously. I suggest to enrich the course with more exercises in order to better acquire the API of the SDK. My overall opnion about the course is very good, the perfect starting point if you want enter in development of HyperLedger. Great job. Leonardo
