Setup Fabric Certification Authorities & Manage identities
Be able to setup the test & production grade Fabric network infrastructure
Design Consortium setups & policies
Configure the YAML files for Fabric network initialization
Carry out Fabric network configuration updates
Be able to setup Fabric Network on
Native in a Virtual Machine (Locally)
Cloud (AWS)
Docker & Docker Compose
Minikube & Kubernetes (GCP)
Will be in a position to take the CHFA exam (Practice required)
Tools Covered:
configtxgen, cryptogen, configtxlator
orderer, peer, kafka
fabric-ca-server, fabric-ca-client
jq, docker, docker-compose, minikube kubernetes
AWS & GCP installation
Before joining the course:
Go through the preview lectures & Make sure you understand my accent :)
Be aware that this course covers advanced topics & may require you to spend time on additional readings etc
Understand the basics of Hyperledger Fabric - take a look at my course on Composer, it will help build a solid foundation
Know this course will NOT teach you how to develop chaincode - take a look at my course on "Mastering Chaincode Development with GoLang"
Pre-Requisites:
Students MUST have the conceptual knowledge of Hyperledger Fabric DLT
Students MUST be comfortable with basic Linux commands
Students MUST be comfortable with basic/simple shell scripts
Students MUST be willing to learn (Fabric related technologies) on their own
Good to have:
Basic understanding of Docker / Kubernetes
Understanding of Virtual Machines | Hypervisors
Access to any public cloud (AWS, Google ...)
Working knowledge of JSON or YAML format

The instructor is very knowledgeable and his patience and skills of teaching are top notch. I've been following the hyperledger samples and needed a class to build the infrastructure from the scratch. This course provides me with the skills to do just that.

Overall good introduction to Fabric, but not easy to digest for newbies to Fabric. The material is overall good and even if outdated, still works with Fabric 2.5 (with some adjustments here and there).

Very detailed information. But... The setup using Vagrant did not work well and I couldn't get proper support to solve the issue. Nobody answers. Not an useful answer from previous questions. There are problems on Vagrantfile, and I couldn't fix them on the very beggining. So I am just following the lectures, but not doing the exercises. Later I've found a way to fix the problems, but it was to late for me. Hope this helps: On Vagrantfile, put this > config.ssh.insert_key = false and change from: > ["modifyvm", :id, "--memory", "3072", "--cpus", "1"] to: > ["modifyvm", :id, "--memory", "3072", "--cpus", "2"] Not being able to run the scripts was a deal breaker. Some topics get confusing because of this.

It's amazing course. All about Hyperledger Fabric was explained with theory and exercises. The samples are very useful in many configurations and environments. Rajeev show us all of your knowledge about HLF.

Great professor, you can feel his involvement and interest, and it makes the course great cause he does a lot to help understand the concepts and ensure you don't miss details

Raj is amazing. I just have one little suggestion. There is so much information here that I think that it would help to label sections in a slightly more assertive way in order to differentiate between theory and technology. Examples: " [Theory] Introduction to Policies - Rules & Principals" and "[Technology] Orderer Binary". Thank you!

The depth of knowledge that Raj showcases is really impressive. There can be many courses on Hyperledger Fabric but this one seems to have explained Hyperledger in true industry grade level. The Acne airlines example explained, was very realistic and made me believe in my role and a realistic project scenario, that is not how other people create courses. I hope I will get a lot of knowledge as the course progresses.

This course has exceeded my expectations in a way that it explains the trickiest details around Hyperledger Fabric Design and Deployment. It is meant for beginner to intermediate level who wants to deep dive into it and understand more how it works and how It is meant to be used. Examples are very clear and the approach is progressive and learner-friendly. Excellent job. I would love to see the instructor design another course for more advanced levels where we can deploy a multi-organizations network with distributed ordering service and a cluster fabric-ca ( with intermediated fabric-ca for each organization ). In all cases thank you for the quality of the course and happy learning for all students .

Taking this course as preparation for the CHFA exam. Would like more quizzes or knowledge checkpoints throughout (they only exist in the earlier chapters), The code-along sections are hard to follow and move along quite fast. The setup or context for some of the recipes and exercises could be more explicit on how to set them up, even if it means repetition of steps.
By Babita bisht on 11/13/2019
The course is no doubt very good. But there are some points which I think can make this course even more better. 1. The course has explained setting up the fabric network with binaries(native setup) and with docker images, but if the node sdk would have explained to setup the network it would have more beneficial for the audience. 2. Most of the tasks are done by scripts, which are explained by Raj but sometimes the scripts are confusing, and sometimes they just don't work.
