Course Description
The aim of Blues Accelerator is to take someone with little formal knowledge about blues guitar playing, and turn them into a confident blues player. The ultimate goal that we're headed towards is the ability to play over the 12 bar blues, which is the bread and butter of any blues musician. If you want to sit in with the real players, you need to have a rock solid grasp on playing over the 12 bar blues....and by the final lesson of this VOl. I, you will have mastered soloing over the 12 bar blues.
Depending on your skill level coming into this course, you might find the first lesson a bit easy. Nevertheless, please follow along. Each lesson in the course builds upon the lesson that precedes it. Skip a lesson, and you risk missing an important aspect of blues soloing.
As the title suggests, you can finish the course in 21 days.

I've been a professional teacher my entire adult life. I have taught thousands of people over the years to play all levels and all styles. A music composition major at Arizona State University, I also graduated from L.A.'s Guitar Institue of Technology. In the late 80's I was featured in Guitar Player Magazine's SPOTLIGHT column, and in the early 90's was George Lynch's guitar instructor. (He of DOKKEN fame.) I created George's instructional series for R.E.H. videos and worked with George on other projects. For the most part, though, I was one of the lead instructors at the Music Store in Mesa, Arizona where I taught thousands of students over the years. I currently reside in Sevastopol, Ukraine where I moved to master the Russian language and to share American rock and blues with a part of the world that knows little about it.

Love this course! Save yourself $100's and buy this course. I've been everywhere when it comes to guitar (blues) courses. Start here and keep coming back. This course has explanations, technique drills, applications, styles. All organized well, and starting from ground zero. Not only does he teach you the tools, but he shows you how to use the tools, where to use the tools, and even when not to use the tools. The ear training is also very valuable to newer blues students. I bought the chop building course before I bought this course, and now the chops course is free! haha its ok though. Mark's technique is mind blowing, but of course I'm no SRV myself. He's a grrrreat teacher! Not sure if he is active on asking questions though. Many people are asking for tabs, with no response. It might help if you know your pentatonics and intervals inside the pentatonics. I've bought other courses, so this stuff is not really new to me, but he showed me how to better use the tools I've learned throughout my life. I used to sort of meander through the scales and positions. Like using a wrench as a hammer haha

What I have been looking for in blues guitar lesson, how to find the soul of playing the blues, not just the riffs

Even though it says 21 days, I'd say, it is 21 days to watch the lessons, learn from it and to digest what you have learned from the lessons. But in order to capitalize on the theory and exercises, you really need to invest more time to build your skillsets. Great job, Mark. This is the type of lessons I've been looking for,

clear, well described. Would have gotten a 5 if he had shown tabs.

This course is incredibly in depth! I finished it a better player than when I started. Mark is a very articulate and encouraging instructor who really breaks down the material into comprehensible chunks. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone interested in playing the blues!

i like that he's getting to the real principals of what makes the blues sound what it is. He does a good job and teaches quite well:)
