This is a basic course, explaining the basics of bookkeeping, but the tutor skips over explaining debit and credit positions and starts explaining the types of accounts instead. I came here to learn what debit and credit are.

I did research on several ways to get education and Udemy seems to have the best prices. I like how I could read up on the instructors and courses they made before picking one. If the instructor reads this I would like to say hello Calvin Lee, nice to meet you. Now that I have finished the course I will say it's very basic knowledge about bookkeeping. This course was a good introduction to what one needs to know about bookkeeping if your thinking of working in the industry.

Concepts are well explained making it all easier to remember. There are great resources to download and refer to after the course is finished so information is at your fingertips. Since my goal is to feel more confident with bookkeeping skills, this course is doing a great job at filling gaps and refreshing my memory.

most of the topics are explained very well from complex to simple, but some needs further explanations and examples to be better understand.

This is a really good lesson for me to learn since i'm not really good at doing accounting and bookkeeping and all that. And the fact that he is showing us how to do it for beginners is really good. I enjoy having this guy teach. :)
By Rochelle Naidoo on 3/9/2026
I have already learnt quite a bit as a beginner :) The lesson is definitely getting more intense. I guess I will have to keep at it as we go on. There is obviously a lot to learn. I will have to spend more time outside of this course to learn everything. If I may ask... Will I still be able to view this course after we have finished? If yes... For how long?
By May Tess Bernardina A. Velasco on 2/21/2026
The lessons discussed throughout the course are all highly valuable and directly applicable to my job function. The topics are presented in a straightforward manner and concepts are explained with enhanced clarity, resulting in improved comprehension
