most videos were not clearly showing where the wires are connected and how. There is some scheme like red wires along side etc. which are not even addressed. Nothing on safety and use of shock proof devices or antistatics etc covered which I heard are important else can damage your computer parts or even cause electrical shock to oneself when working on computer

Everything you need to do for and after building a computer. Setting up a Virtual Machine, Dual Boot, installing operating systems everything. it would be good if you include how to implement a software raid and you could update the course because 1.) AMD isn't the underdog anymore 2.) The requirements have increased for software, operating systems, and even for the job you need to do. 3.) You might now get a better bang for your buck with the newer option. But if all you need is to know how to set up a computer, this is the way to go.

Overall a good course and content. The illustration was okay too. The section which focuses on putting together the PC should have been better edited and camera angle could have been better. There are a lot of moments where the audience can be sitting around watching "pain dry". The info was valid and useful. The installation of Linux and Win10 was good too.

I Love This Course. This Course pick you from completely Scratch and let you nearly a hardware professional. As this Course is highly informative, it covers all the aspects of building any kind of computer, i really like its author as he a very nice man having a lot of experience in this particular filed, One thing i did not like about this course is that the author did not tell how to fix error related to bios also he did not tell in the course what the hell BIOS really is. beside that this course is really informative and amazing i recommend this course to all People who what to build Home, Office or any kind of Desktop PC.

I found this course to be somewhat enlightening. I’ve considered the option of building my own off and on for a while, but felt a bit overwhelmed. Mr. Delgadillo goes through the process of planning and acquiring the components in detail, so it’s not so mysterious. I enjoyed seeing the project come together. Mr. Delgadillo appears to have been doing this for quite a while. This course made me feel like I could take a good crack at it. Hopefully, this year. I felt there could be improvements in the recording angles of the hardware installation, but not bad overall. I know one needs all kinds of equipment for real world recording. Overall, I enjoyed this course, and would recommend if you've considered building your own, but just aren't quite there yet, or if you just wanted to know, “what’s in the box”, with no other motives.

I am really glad I signed up for this course. This was my second how to build a computer class and made me confident and ready to build my own computer. Joseph is very knowledgeable and I felt like he knew what he was talking about. I also really loved how he includes lectures on how to install Linux and clean out your own computer. I have recently finished building my own computer and it turned out to be a success. I highly recommend taking this class, you won't regret it.

I really enjoyed this course. Joseph was very responsive to the questions, that I had and I really appreciated, his responses. I have been going back and forth, on building a computer, but I have been sort of wavering on it because, I want to build one with hardware that will work with both Windows and Linux, as well. One of the videos reminded me, to just go for it, so I hope that I will give myself the chance, to build one.

This has been a very informative course that gives you the most important aspects in choosing the parts that are needed to build a computer, plus a thorough walk through of how to build a computer from scratch. I wished it would have been a more detailed view of the case when the building was being done, specially the cable installation.

470 students and no reviews yet???? Wake up guys.. This course is literally an over-the-shoulder view of how to build a PC. First he discusses what components you will need depending on what the purpose of the PC is. Then the PC is built and the OS is installed. Joseph recently updated the course with a whoe section on dual-booting with Linux and how to remove it if you don't like/use it. Thouroughly enjoyed the course and learnt some stuff, course delivery was also good.

This course gave me the confidence to build my own computer and to upgrade parts in my current computer. Before this course I was too afraid to change parts on my computer without taking it to a computer shop. Now Im upgrading my hard drive to a Solid State Drive and Upgrading the RAM on my current computer. Overall the course was great.
