Course Description

Hello there! Are you entrepreneurial and yearning to build the next big thing without a developer? Have an idea in your back pocket that you want the world to see? Maybe you don't like current solutions and want to build one on your own but without coding? That's what this course is for - you'll be able to develop your startup through harnessing the power of Bubble and exploring numerous apps that we'll make together. (plus more apps will be made every month!)

What is this course? If you've ever had a SaaS startup idea of your own that you really wanted to execute but didn't have a developer by your side, then this course enables you to realize how to build it from design to shipment without writing a single line of code.

Who's teaching it? Good question. I've been involved with startups since I was 16. After founding, funding and exiting my own local commerce startup, I learned a thing or two. Currently, as a user experience lead at a well-funded startup and a passionate instructor, I'm helping people build their ideas themselves.

Why would I take it? There is nothing like the feeling that you can build anything. When I started learning web development, I felt overwhelmed by all that I had to learn though I still wanted to. If you're ever felt that way or don't have too much time to invest in learning, then this course will convince you that is very possible to take your ideas and make them into realities.

What will I do? Once I get you caught up with a platform called Bubble, I'll show you how you can not only design, but structure, architect and execute your startup ideas. Who knows? You could someday be a millionaire, all because you said yes to learning how to develop your startup without any coding.

How much time? Not much at all. The platform you'll be using makes it easy not only for me to explain to you what things to consider when developing a startup, but also for you to pick things up and get going entirely on your own.

What are you waiting for? Starting learning how to build your startup without any coding and tons of more apps with free lifetime updates! Looking forward to seeing you.

Cheers.

Looking back at the course now that I’m at the end, even the title hints at the fact that it’s not so much about Bubble as it is about doing a startup using Bubble. It does cover design and UX as well. It would be impossible to dive deep into Bubble while also discussing design in ten hours. As such, I’m satisfied overall as I’ve gained some familiarity with Bubble, but I’ve also learned quite a few things about design. I’ll do more Bubble courses to hopefully dive deeper into it at a slower pace.

I have done a few bubble courses and this is the best by far. I cannot give it 5 stars for two reasons. It was made in 2016 and it uses the old software and has not been updated in at least a few years. The other thing is that the creator of this course has not answered any questions since 2017 so don't expect any help there. However, the other people doing the course have answered questions and put workarounds where the software has changed. I would still highly recommend this course to give you a good understanding of Bubble.

The instructor made the material relatable by attempting to showcase the creation of "real world" projects. A good emphasis was placed on design considerations but detail on backend program functionality left something to be desired. Several Bubble features that were encountered early in the course were "tabled" but not resumed in subsequent videos (e.g. responsive tab feature). I would also recommend that the instructor not refer to every bug or deficiency in functionality as an "optimization" and leave it to the student to tackle at a later time. This was a good demonstration of repeating groups, data binding, and basic interface features. Unfortunately many functionality demonstrations were omitted (especially on the Flixo project which felt rushed and was mostly a repeat of what was already demonstrated). Overall, I'd say this was a good crash course but the material could use some refinement to include only on-topic curriculum and less "intro/outro" fluff. It felt more like casually shoulder surfing someone as opposed to watching a subject matter expert deliver concise and targeted instruction. I could have done without the tangential explanations on Sketch and Marvel and instead would have welcomed a deeper dive into Bubble functionality.

Great introduction to Bubble. It covers a lot of different areas that would take much longer to figure out if you were just trying to figure things out on your own. Overall it's great value(especially if you catch it during a discount period) but even if you don't get any discount it would be worth it. For example, the value gained from this could potentially be more valuable than the vast majority of college courses. Or if you look at it in a time/entertainment value the content will be more valuable than a ticket to a 2.5hr sporting event. Of course this course is to pick up a skill which will enable you to create which will be the entertainment (not the videos). Just a great value for the money when put into perspective. I recommend it to anyone interested in creating on Bubble.

Really great! A lot a UI/UX insights I didn't expect on top of the exploration of the Bubble platform. The instructor is really experienced, and the projects are fun, practical and look good. It's just a pity the course doesn't end on a final, harder project. Actually, there's no conclusion at the end, the instructor planned more lessons but never published them. In any case, this course is definitely worth the money, no doubt about that!

If you're looking to understand Bubble, I believe this course is a great start to not only supplement your efforts, but push you in the right direction in learning how to make your idea come to life. The Instructor is good, he goes at a steady pace. The only thing(s) I wish: perhaps some sort of quizzes to test your information to help better retain, as well as course content such as lesson plans to show perhaps steps in things like repeating groups, and workflows so you can get a clearer understanding. At one point It seems as if the instructor assumes you have these down pact, and pushes ahead instead of continuing to show the process; yet it also helps you figure it out which you need and should perhaps be able to do, because eventually you will. Great Course. Enjoyed it a lot Thanks.

I got my money's worth by taking this course and I'm glad I did. It's clear the instructor has lots of knowledge to impart on Bubble but also UX design, graphic design, and even infrastructure. Criticisms: 1. Most of the time it felt like I was following someone's random stream of consciousness. That made it hard to follow. It could thus benefit from some Q&A and editing. I would have paid double to have this a little more refined. 2. I would like to have access to all of his apps so I can reverse engineer those parts that he skipped through quickly. 3. There was no responses or help in the Q&A section.

The videos are short and sweet. Precise to the point and tells you exactly what to do. Great step-by-step walkthroughs and a general knowledge of the development and design process. Covers most of the functionalities and leaves you with enough information for you go and explore the application by yourself, which I think is a great way to put a tutorial together. All in all a great tutorial to introduce an application using which you can build basic to mid range web apps. Would definitely recommend this tutorial to anyone who wants to know about bubble.is and general practices that you have to follow for design and development of an app.

The course is comprehensive, sometimes to a fault. There's a lot of valuable info about design, but that makes it harder to focus on development. It also makes the course very long. The course is focused on multiple projects. This creates a lot of redundancy. It would be better to build one or two projects, but build them in stages, illustrating new features without building from scratch every time. Today is March 11, and it seems like he stopped responding to questions a few months ago. He also promised new material, and none has arrived. Thats upsetting. In particular, he promised a module showing a database with more than one table, known as a relational database. Most significant work requires that. So far, he has not delivered. He may be thinking of creating an advanced course he can charge fir, which is fine, but then he shouldnt have promised it here. Maybe he still intends to follow through. I hope so. I have a background in development. Sometimes i worry that people who dont will have trou le following him. Sometimes i found it easy going and set the repkay speed to 150% In general, he does a very good job. If he did answer questions, most people would do just fine. In sum, i have found it very valuable. (I'm about 2/3 through it.) I hope he comes through with some more material and resumes answering questions.

This is a superb course showing non-technical, non-coding users how to develop dynamic web sites without code, using the amazing Bubble.is application. The instructor starts off at an easy level where anybody who has ever used a simple database/spreadsheet can understand. He communicates efficiently and speaks clearly. (Maybe a little too quickly for some non-native English speakers, but you can always slow him down, and re-wind with Udemy’s playback controls) He shows you how to build six apps, beginning with a simple, searchable restaurant directory, to a shopping cart and payment gateway, to a chat application, to a video subscription service with personalized recommendations. Each app is increasingly complicated. However, because you will have acquired a knowledge of how Bubble works from completing the previous project. it’s not a stretch to get to the next level, and from there to the next one. And what is amazing is that during the entire 8 hours of the course, I never saw a line of code. No HTML, no pHp, no Ajax, no javascript, nada.
