Jonathan presents HBase in a clear and succinct way. I enjoyed how he explained the design decisions behind HBase read and write paths. The way he presents it can easily help any one interested in HBase performance tuning. He also uses a good sample application to illustrate how to develop HBase applications. To me this course is a good blend of theory and hands-on. Thanks of the good job Jonathan!!!

Si esta bastante bien explicado hasta ahorita la teoría y la historia, ojalá también lo tuvieran en español.

Not really building lots of applications, but the course is a very clear and thorough introduction to HBase internals. It also covers how to model and architect applications based on HBase in general.
