Course Description
This course is designed for high school and college students taking their first semester of calculus and who are learning limits and continuity. Here is a list of topics covered in this video.
1. Evaluating Limits Using a Data Table
2. Evaluating Limits Analytically Using Direct Substitution
3. Finding The Limit of Trigonometric Functions
4. Properties of Limits - Multiplication and Division
5. Evaluating Limits By Factoring - GCF, Difference of Perfect Squares & Sum of Cubes, & Factoring By Grouping
6. Limits With Square Roots and Radicals
7. Limits of Rational Functions and Fractions
8. Limits of Rational Functions With Square Roots
9. Limits of Special Trigonometric Functions - Sine, Cosine, and Tangent - Trigonometry
10. The Squeeze Theorem
11. Evaluating Limits Graphically
12. Limits and Piecewise Functions
This section covers the main topics that you will typically encounter on your first major calculus exam. Learning limits is important because it ties in nicely with the second major topic taught in calculus which is Derivatives. The derivative is a function that can tell you the instantaneous slope of a function at any x value. You can also calculate the instantaneous slope of any function at any x value using limits and the average rate of change formula. In this way, limits and derivatives are related.

Organic Chemistry Tutor
I started my education career by tutoring students right after high school and into college receiving a BA in Chemistry. The request that I usually receive were hard core topics like Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, General Chemistry, Physics, and Organic Chemistry.
Over time, I learned which teaching methods are most effective for helping students to not only understand the material but to retain it and to apply it during an exam to boost their score. Now, I focus more on creating videos and online courses that help not just students in my locality but students worldwide who might be struggling with this course.
Best Regards,
Julio G.

Top quality lectures, easy to follow and so succinct and worth the time and money for any Calc student starting out.

It is fast pace and simple. I can understand the concepts easily. I love the part of how he let us review the method of converting the fraction to degree for finding the limit of sin, cos, tan, etc. I had forgotten about it already, but now I remember. Thank you.

So far, this course is significantly easier to follow than my textbook! I already feel that I have a better understanding of limits, hopefully the course covers all of the material I need for this unit of my calculus course!

Yes, really enjoy Julio's videos. Discovered him on Youtube. His videos have been a big help to me and are much easier to understand than the learning materials I get from my school course.
