A free two-hour Canva starter from Ronny and Diana Muñoz, a husband and wife pair who are both Canva Verified Experts. Ronny spent two years working at Canva, and the couple run a YouTube channel with hundreds of Canva tutorials. The course has 8 lectures across two sections, and the main one is built around the questions people most often ask about Canva: finding templates, working with text, uploading and editing photos, and simple video editing. It's aimed at virtual assistants, social media marketers and business owners who have opened Canva, felt lost, and closed it again.

With more than 6,300 reviews and a 4.5 rating, most students walk away happy. Reviewers say the teaching is simple and easy to follow, and one who thought they already knew Canva says they still picked up features they'd never explored. The main complaint is speed. Two beginners say the course moves fast and packs a lot into two hours, and one of them felt overwhelmed. There's no quiz, no assignment and no certificate, so nothing forces practice. The last update was April 2024, so expect some screens and menus to look a little different from today's Canva.
