Great training. Gained some new insights on web application security.

The instructor sounds like a very verbose, monotonic robot that just read aloud from a book and find the subject very boring, and the CC (subtitle) is useless e.g "url's" becomes "you or else" in the CC, "url rewriting" becomes "You're out rewriting" and "html source" becomes this very rare creature "HVM Allosaurus" in the CC..... just to mention a very few examples of the many strange "translations"......

Good course, some things re-hashed too much (e.g. input sanitization). More coverage of Threat Modeling, Cryptography, and Secure Architecture would be good.

This course contains a lot of information cluttered together in the form of wordy slides and a narration of the same. It lacks practicals and experiments or any other hands activities for the student. Therefore, the course helps to know these concepts exist, but does not make the user a proficient or a capable person on the subject matter. Hence, I cannot be super happy with it, but yeah, I got some knowledge that I may soon forget...

Good high level overview. I think having a few more visual examples of vulnerabilities or exploits being performed would help with retention and understanding. The modules could have been separated and named better to allow returning to sections for reviewing specific topics within modules.

The information was good. The quizzes were terrible. Some of the quizzes were even attached to the wrong module. I'm disappointed that when discussing password security he didn't even mention that the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) freely publishes recommendations for security best-practices, including for handling passwords.

The course is really nice. but some times it feels boring because most of the lectures are only theory. Some theories are also very old. If you can update this course with some practical modules I think it's better. Anyway, thank you!

It's very good match for all the Project managers, Architects, business analyst and developers to create a high secure application.

By Obia Ugochukwu Vigo on 9/3/2019

The lectures were clear and concise. The perfect blend of simplicity for beginners on web application security and depth for learning to secure real world applications.

By Anton Lehmus on 6/5/2019

The actual content of the lessons seem to be good quality. I haven't completed the course yet though. The pace is slowish but luckily the content cant be played at 1.5 speed. Production quality needs work. Sound quality is so-so and it bothers me that the slides are 4:3 and there is that unnecessary blue gradient background. It's infuriating that lessons are split into multiple videos for seemingly for no reason at all. The first section seems to be missing part where a testing vm was supposed to be setup. Toughts having completed the course: I found the following this distracting and bothering. Not gret production quality. Lots of wasted screen estate, old aspect ratio. Squiggly lines under some words. Resolution could be higher. Audio quality is acceptable. The content seems pretty old (web 2.0, myspace, Flash etc). The videos are split into parts for no apprent reason. The factual conent is presented clearly and is comprehensive and valid. I feel like more practical examples would have been helpfull. Some of the quiz question answers seemed to contradict the lesson (or I missundestood one or both of them). The lessons are pretty much lectures, they could be more engaging.
