I have been a teacher in the UK for nearly 30 years, and am currently the Director of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) at a large comprehensive school in East Sussex. To bore you with the qualifications, I have a Joint Honours Degree in Botany and Zoology from University College, Cardiff, and a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of East Anglia. I was also one of the first Advanced Skills Teachers in the South East of England.
I am a passionate believer in life-long learning, and I will do whatever I can to encourage learning for all ages. Using videos to enhance learning has great potential, and I try to exploit this through my websites.
On a personal level I am married to a primary school headteacher, and we have two grown-up daughters. When not creating videos or teaching I relax (!) by working out at the gym, watching rugby and football, and doing a little work around the garden.

Love the instructor - so encouraging and funny and the pace is great.

Some audio problems with Part 3 vs the first two sections. The presentation also seemed presented with a little less enthusiasm. I expected organic chemistry to be more exciting, but I feel like some opportunities were lost to tie in interesting facts about organics on earth, other planets, etc. Still a good basic presentation.

A good match! The 4 courses go perfect together, you never get tired of watching them over and over, lots of fun, a lot more interesting than the longer chemistry courses I bought, these are all you need!

The delivery is spectacular, explanations is just right great examples that make the content easy to understand, short and to the point.

Ottimo per rispolverare se sei già del mestiere ma passi poco dal laboratorio. Per i ragazzi è fantastico. Pena però i sottotitoli in italiano non precisi.

Excellent material and good presentation. Note taking is important to learning, but it would be nice if something (even fill-in-the-blanks notes) was provided. Stopping and starting the video every 30 seconds to write all the notes out really interrupted the flow of the information. That said, I still feel it is a great refresher/introductory course.

It is such a good review. Just wish there were problems to do in conjunction with the content.
By Marie I. Herndon on 1/23/2018
This course was more difficult than parts 1 and 2 of chemistry 101. I understood as it was being explained but did not do so well on the quiz.
By Joseph DeMacedo on 6/7/2015
The content is good, but the video resolution needs to be increased and the sound quality is like the instructor is recording in a barrel.
