CI/CD with TeamCity From Beginner to Advanced (Udemy.com)

This course is my first introduction to TeamCity and Octopus, and it helped me develop a solid understanding of the CI/CD steps from project building in TeamCity to deploying releases in Octopus. The material does need updating since the software versions are from 2019, and I installed TeamCity Professional 2025.07.3 (Build 197398) and Octopus Server 2025.4, but I was able to follow along and figure out any process gaps between the different versions. I recommend this course and instructor!

Nice to have all the vital information in the same place. Easy to understand how to config server, install agents and make tunning for the custom project configurations. Not sure octopus merge should be here, but still

Course was nice and explained the architecture and deployment steps well. However, a lot of time was spent on .Net service and making adjustments to the source code level. Apart from it the course is useful and covered the almost all the topics. Could have spent more time on snapshot dependencies and how to setup/use by multiple TC Cofig setups.

This course feels dry and has as of now nothing new for me to offer. I also noticed some inconsistencies with the usage of Parameters, even though this is one of those subjects that I really needed to polish. Being self taught I expected a more in depth approach to this course about TeamCity, but it does not yet deliver, which is sad. Aside from this AWS and .Net are for my use case of TeamCity not necessary to learn (at least now, but who knows)

Full on-linux course based on Node JS or Python would be much better, this course does not handle all the options review within the Teamcity scope, though, its more in a specific project scope. In general it is good, though, it could've better checking on different trigger rules and applying on those.

As someone who is new to TeamCity and doesn't have experience with the product, the instructions are good but I don't understand where the clicks are. There is nothing on the screen that is highlighted or can really tell where the instructor is clicking on the screen. It is difficult to follow. I had to pause several times to see where the click was before I could move on.

great course! I follow along with the course and I have learned a lot from this course. definitively recommend to anyone who wish to learn Teamcity.

Fast paced. Background knowledge is assumed. It would help to have a medium-advanced background in git / Github. This is a detailed, fast paced, Windows-Centric presentation over initial setup, and specific configurations for TeamCity. Explanation over specific steps is okay, but moves fast over topics, and uses a lot of terminology which may be unfamiliar. A big-picture explanation would be helpful. This may be a good class for some, depending on their background. TeamCity can be challenging to cover for multiple reasons. This is one of the few classes I've seen over this topic.

I searched for many lessons on TC and even purchased lessons in the past. But these lessons are certainly the best! Both in terms of quantity of materials and in terms of relevance to the real production environment. Classes are distributed and distributed in a professional and easy-to-understand manner, touching every comma in the software. Highly Recommend !!

This is one of the best TeamCity courses I have found on the internet. I especially liked the way how every detail was explained in a step-by-step manner.
