Course Description

Welcome to Cisco  CCENT LABS Course, this course use to cover the materials for CCENT, the first exam focused on obtaining the CCNA certification. Now that the curriculum has changed, and our team evaluated the new exams and required objectives, this material has never been more important.

In this course you will be learning all the important information you need to fully understand Cisco iOS and configurations to implement a small office/home office network directly related to the Cisco  objectives. You will use a virtual network simulator to build all of these labs! You will need to download the eBook which contains all the configuration files, and you will also have the opportunity to download actual Packet Tracer Lab files, and all of the videos.

IF AT ANYTIME - You want to learn how to configure/design something for a LAB related to the Objectives that I did not cover, TELL ME! I will create a LAB and upload it for the course! This course is designed so you STUDENTS can make suggestions and I can tailor it just right for you! I will continuously update the LABS until the curriculum changes and it will be time for revision!

So what are you waiting for... come on and lets go! Master Cisco iOS CLI

★★★★★  Love the way Keith teaches. He phrases concepts in a manner that is easy to follow and understand!

★★★★★ Great course! Definitely will recommend this to others. If you like non dry material with good overall explanations and not just explanations written from a book, then take this course!

How YOU will LEARN!

This course requires you to be engaged! I teach this course as if you were in an actual classroom environment!

The entire course will be presented to you in the form of a screencast. You can simply watch me work on labs and follow along in your network simulator. This works best with a dual monitor setup so you can have me on one monitor, and your lab on another however, single monitors will work just fine.

The course expects you to be engaged, taking notes and writing down information as I teach it. Work on the labs as I have them for you, work on the exercises, and continue to practice configuring network devices and you will become a pro in no time!

Keith Gebhardt

Hello everyone, Im Keith and I have been working in the IT industry for a little over 10 years now, working for both small companies and large fortune 500 companies. Working for a variety of companies in different industries has allowed me to gain a great insight on the important roles and responsibilities in the networking industry. Being in IT is a fun, but at times, challenging career. Technology is always evolving so it is important to stay well educated in many domains so you can grow with the technology and keep a strong, secure, and healthy network.

I began teaching in 2015 in small classroom environments, for different consulting jobs I had. That has lead me to dive into the world of online education which I only hope grows so I can help educate those who are eager to learn the material to be successful in today's technologically advanced industries.

While he does talk way way way too fast, almost to the point of frustration, and even goes as far to say that he's running out of time, He knows his stuff, and if you do his labs, and do them again independently, there is no way that you won't have retained this information. This guy is a drill sergeant and will build you to a new level of confidence. This course is best if you first know all the concepts and read the included eBook first. Not a perfect score for points off for being a word smith and a small amount of troubleshooting labs. Well worth the money spent.

By Lorena Posadas on 11/25/2018

He is very precise on what he is teaching, he goes straight to the point in a very clear way. Super easy to understand. For me he speak a little bit fast, so I have to turn the feature to slow his voice (but then it sounds a bit funny). What I missed from the course are the pdfs and the FREE eBook since the link to access those is broken or no longer exist. I contacted him several time by his website, email, LinkedIn and facebook but I never got a reply, only he reply on facebook and when I explained what I need, I never hear back from him. That is a little bit disappointing because I was trilled to go over those files; but nevertheless I already purchase the sub-netting course from him because I think I like the way he teaches. One more thing it will be nice if you add a part for configuring Access Control List (ACL) Thank you for a great course

Brand new to networking, been studying for CCent for six months but not fully grasping concepts. This course really helped me put it all together, lots of labs and explained very well. Looking forward to the next course with Keith at the helm.

Which one is it you(instructor) are focusing on? CCEnt or CCNA. A lot of subjects were missed and I see this course as a duplicate to his other LABs course. I also noticed this instructor broke out other subjects and make separate courses/videos. This tells me the instructor came up with a sneaky way to get more money out of potential students/customers.

very well practical lab by a very experienced instructor , what I liked was that he does the commands and labs without much mistakes and wasting time , it seems that he always got a plan to start and end each lab . the only issue is just some CCENT exam topics which been missed in this course ! I would suggest this course to anyone who needs more practice for the exam. Thanks Keith

It's hard to access the course resources (which are necessary for the course). In order to access the resources you're forced to sign up for their newsletter which makes it feel very cheap for a course that you have to pay for . That being the case, topics are covered in an informed manner and it provides good practice. Additionally, the course book that you do eventually get after jumping through a few hoops is fairly meticulous and a good resource for the exam.

Excellent course that covers quite a bit of topics in a short amount of time. No time is wasted in these videos, Keith is very concise in his delivery and presentation. I'd definitely recommend this course for anyone that needs to brush up on their labs.

By Jeff Hughes22 on 9/4/2017

Really enjoyed the step by step and the repetition! I feel more confident with configuring routers prior to beginning this course and one step closer to taking the CCENT test. Thanks again and I highly encourage anyone looking for labs or practice to look into this course.

By James Kenny on 7/29/2017

I have really enjoyed going through this course It is a really good tutorial. I have enjoyed it so much I have allready signed up to another one of Keith's courses.I have even started saying the phrase bada bing bada boom as I practice the labs.

By Jamie Stewart on 7/19/2017

So far so good. Really enjoying the course and using packet tracer is a revelation to me. I didn't think I could study networking without already working in that field or by going to a classroom. I find Keith's style of teaching both informative and engaging and if he is talking a little fast for me I can always slow him down a touch using the controls! I am now halfway through the course and I can honestly say I am still enjoying it and seem to be learning the concepts pretty well. I have been writing my own book of commands as I have been going along which I amend and add to which I think is helping me remember stuff and is also my go to document when I forget a command.
