Course Description
The Cisco CCNA is one of the most widely recognized and respected qualifications in the IT industry. Every year, tens of thousands of people embark towards taking the exam via private study, Cisco Academy courses, or online training.
The sad truth is most students quit along the way, and for those few who actually do attempt it, only 50% pass. All that time, effort, and money wasted! If there are so many manuals, CBT courses, lab simulators, exam engines, and study resources out there, then what goes wrong?
This is the question Cisco trainer Paul Browning wanted to get to the bottom of. After interviewing thousands of students, he discovered that most people quit because they are simply overwhelmed with the sheer volume of material they need to digest and, of course, the large number of hands-on skills they need to be able to demonstrate in the exam. Add to that the day-to-day stresses of commuting to work, bringing up a family, and the distraction of everyday problems and challenges; it’s no wonder people quit.
This is where Cisco CCNA in 60 Days can help. Devised by four industry experts and countless Cisco students just like you, the 60-day programme breaks down every exam requirement into a daily study task. All you need to do is turn up at the relevant day (from 1 to 60), watch the theory, and complete the lab and practice exam. This method has helped tens of thousands of students study for the CCNA exam since 2006.

I worked in the police in the UK for 12 years as a patrol officer and detective. While I was in the job I helped teach the new e-mail system to other officers. I took a few IT exams and then left for a career in IT in June 2000.
I took a few more exams with vendors such as Cisco and Microsoft and got a job working for Cisco for two years. I then started an IT training company teaching Cisco and computer networking courses. I built the business until it had several offices in the UK and then sold it.
I now run a publishing business and several websites teaching IT related subjects. I've learned how to build a successful company and how to make it in the world of IT. I hope what I've learned helps you too.

As a visual learner, I was glad to see images and hear the explanation la for each icon that represents the IT industry standards of symbols. Also because I just finished a routing and switching course, this course was reminiscent of gaps that needed to be filled in network security.

I've taken a bunch of courses for CCNA during my study time. I enjoy the lecture portion that immediately gets tied into the hands on lab. Often times courses can get bogged down by theory or over explanation. Paul is straight to the point with the "how/why" of this and what to expect in the real world. The lessons are properly timed to keep someone like me engaged, I get bored of watching 30-45 minute videos and would rather spend my time practicing the skills associated with the lessons, it seems to have a deeper impact on my overall learning.

This course was great.... 10 years ago. In the present era of internet education this course fails miserably. It's full on inconsistencies, has very low production value and is just simply not relevant anymore. I did enjoy the lab demonstrations however they were not enough to make the course enjoyable.

The course is fantastic! This course is fast and straightforward - i haven't wasted any time during lessons. I also got small Labs in packet tracer so you can try the things you have learned on "virtual" devices. I would definately recommend this course to everyone with a little of network knowledge (I have Comptia Network+). I think it's not for absolute beginners because most of the background information is omitted so you need know the basics of theory.

I bought both this Cisco CCNA video and the book. I feel that I am learning a lot. Paul is great instructor who cares so much about his students to pass the CCNA and I thank him for that. I also want to say about subnetting that Paul made it so easy to understand. I can’t imagine if there is any other way to explain subnetting better than this. I’m so happy with what I’m learning right now from Paul. Thank you so much and I wish you a lot of success and I can’t wait to see more books from you in the near future.

Good introduction, but there where several times where I was left wondering about the different terms, technologies etc. For people like me, who don't really like to be left in the dark for too long, it can be a bit too much info that is not explained. For an introduction, I suppose this is what an introduction actually is, and the meaty parts will come from now on. I've only been through the first 20 minutes, and so far so good.

Not enough examples for the quiz on day two, got very stuck and could not match notes. Class A subnet host. Sometimes too fast, not knowing if it is important or not. The first lab he was not letting us know where to start, what program he was using and how to add a serial port since some routers did not have them, then the pdf said just use console cord. Needs more guidelines to follow along. Secret subnetting sheet is life saver for Class C and B, just need to figure out A.

Highly recommended for people with network+,security+ and experience. In 2017 I took the CCNA1-4 classes in Cisco network Academy through my community college. I did well there and made a awesome grade. I had hours upon hours of hands on with real equipment. I also been working in IT for 10 years. I studied hard and invested a lot of time in the netcad class and my studies. Then I bombed the CCENT hard. This was a huge hit to my ego and I did not try taking the test for another year. Got my CCENT at the end of September. I got a score of 912 and did not even invest the amount of that Paul browning suggested. This guy is straight to the point. Will be using this to pass my ICND2. Good luck.

Easy to understand learning, being new to Cisco Paul has provided everything I need to get started on the right track to obtaining Cisco certification. As well as the easy to understand content, he provides a day by day study plan that is mapped out into manageable chunks. The format and layout of this course has given me a new study strategy to learning new skills as there are hands-on labs included as well. I'm feeling quite organised and confident about this course. I will up date this review accordingly as I progress. Good work Paul.

Nicely presented and is delivering what it promised. Trainer seems honest about what is and isn't covered or included. I especially like his steady, calm voice and that the images on the screen match what he is saying. This is a technical topic so a calm trainer who uses plain English when possible is important to me.
