Course Description

Updated in 2022 for the new 200-301 CCNA - Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA) exam.

We all know that the Cisco CCNA is one of the most sought after certifications in IT. It's also one of the hardest testing your knowledge and hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting topics such as:

  • IPv6 addressing

  • Configuring VLANs

  • Applying IPv4 access lists

  • Configuring OSPF and static routes

  • Understanding Cloud Computing models

  • Securing routers and switches

  • Configuring DHCP, DNS and NTP

  • Understanding WAN technologies

  • Configure Wireless LANs

  • Understand Quality of Service (QoS)

  • Explain Network Automation concepts such as APIs and CRUD

In order to pass the exam you must know the theory very well but also have high level hands-on skills. The element most students forget it drilling their knowledge with a ton of practice exams. Practice exams help you learn to apply theory to questions as well as expose weak areas in your knowledge.

The CCNA exam currently costs around $300. It consists of around 50 multiple choice questions as well as several hands-on lab scenarios. The pass mark is around 85%. The pass rate is only 50% which means that half of the students taking it walk out of the exam feeling dejected and of course $300 worse off.

If you combine practice exams with reading and hands-on lab time you greatly increase your chances of passing the exam. Let me help you by testing you on all the latest CCNA exam topics. I hit you with subjects from all exam areas and for many of the questions I give you explanations and tips to increase your understanding.

There are six practice exams in total, broken into various CCNA syllabus topics. There are over 430 exam style questions in total. Take the exams as many times are you wish and when you are getting around 95% every time you know you are ready for the real thing. I've been prepping students for their CCNA exams since 2002, let me help you too.

See you on the inside.

I worked in the police in the UK for 12 years as a patrol officer and detective. While I was in the job I helped teach the new e-mail system to other officers. I took a few IT exams and then left for a career in IT in June 2000.

I took a few more exams with vendors such as Cisco and Microsoft and got a job working for Cisco for two years. I then started an IT training company teaching Cisco and computer networking courses. I built the business until it had several offices in the UK and then sold it.

I now run a publishing business and several websites teaching IT related subjects. I've learned how to build a successful company and how to make it in the world of IT. I hope what I've learned helps you too.

I got these practice tests for free. To be honest, I was still pretty disappointed. The 6 tests are not complete practice tests, meaning they only focus on 1 or 2 exam objectives at a time. Even then, some of the questions are misspelled, have incorrect answers, or are just not material covered in any CCNA 200-301 material I have seen. These are fine for just some random practice questions. But I would absolutely not depend on these for actual test practice. Go Boson.

Has made very clear which parts of the material due to be covered in the exam I either didn't know as well as I thought I did, or was even completely unaware of (VTP I'm looking at you).

I really like it. Since it covered lot of topics and it's questions. I would love it if it has Explanation mentioned for few more questions (It will really help us understand the questions and it's answer which also helps to do revision in just one location)

Good for learning about the test. Very educational. Some questions were confusing/ needed an explanation but with a little impromptu research, you can figure out the mistakes thanks to the course. Thank you.

So far I am seeing a few questions I don't recall from the material or coursework that I also did not see in Passleader exams. I am wondering is these questions from a newer or future curriculum? I completed the CCENT and CCNA coursework thru the Cisco Network Academy, and am preparing for the first exam currently.

Those tests was great because have some good questions. But three points was not so good for me. 1 - Some tests have a lot of questions based on the blueprint of the old exam version. 2 - The incorrect questions doesn't have good explanations in order to get feedback (some doesn't have explanations) 3 - The organization of the tests. I'd like to see each of the 6 tests covering all topics present in the exam blueprint instead by technologies.

By Matthew Blankley on 10/3/2018

These practice tests need to include more IPv6 content to be relevent to the current CCNA test. Maybe put in a few questions about setting up different routing protocols with IPv6. The explanations are generally good and this was helpful for refining my understanding of the topics. I would currently recommend this as a third tier resource for exam prep.

it's great to test your knowledge before taking tests for real and gets you into the mode for test taking :)

By Jerald J Conkle on 2/27/2018

Very Good Course - Some answers are incorrect. Some misspelling was found. Some questions repeated up to 4 times. Some question explanations reflect the same wrong answer as it repeats the same false statement as the explanation.

By Bess Pardo on 11/22/2017

Paul once again hits it out of the park. After taking both his course on the CCNA and these exams, I feel fully prepared for the CCNA.
