Course Description
In this course you will build up on what you have learned in Level 1.
Learn and implement arpeggio patterns. Arpeggio technique is an important asset for the classical guitar player. With the foundation that you have from Level 1- plucking chords in variety of ways, you will find that it will be just natural for you to learn and implement this new technique.
Learn new ways of eliciting chords - different plucking and strumming techniques, introduced to you in an explicit way, following the ones that you learned earlier.
Music theory - is closely related with the music that is presented in the course. I will not teach you things that you don't need now. But in contrary the theory is restricted to the terms and symbols which you see in the score that you play.
Ensemble playing - Duets, Trio. Playing in ensemble is an essential part of the music education, along with the fun that this activity gives you, it helps you understand better your instrument. With the ensemble pieces provided in this course you get a first hand experience of two or three melodies that are played simultaneously. You have a chance to experience yourself different layers of the music texture. You see and follow the other part or parts wile playing yours. This itself, is of a great value when it comes to playing classical guitar music as the guitar is a multi - voice instrument.
Practice sessions - with me, which will help you learn better and don't feel lonely while practicing. once you have learned your part, we will be practicing ensemble pieces together.
Pieces by Matteo Carcassi and Antonio Cano. with everything that you have learned in level 1 and level 2 You will find that you are fully prepared to play those classical guitar tunes. I present them to you with separate technical exercises extracted from the pieces themselves. Those exercises will help you to play the actual pieces effortlessly.
Supplementary pieces by Fernando Sor and Joseph Kuffner. I have included few pieces that you can play using the skills and knowledge that you acquired from the course.
I whish you good luck!
Valentin

Exactly what I was looking for. Great teacher, great knowledge, and fantastic exercises. I started with Level 2. I believe it was more or less at my level. While many exercises were easy for me, I learned and gained a lot. I already purchased the next ones in the sequence. and eager to continue and improve.

You are welcome Valentin. Just wondering if there is any possibility of you extending the course into Part 1V, V, V1 etc ? I would certainly be interested in continuing to learn under your tuition

I completed level 1, and I have just started level 2. I really like because it is very well structured, following a clear progression and covering important and necessary musical concepts to be able to read the pieces properly. I find it very useful as it gives me the explanations I need from the instructor but at the same time, it allows me to practise each piece independently at my own pace and repeat it as many times as I need. It is a great course and I hope there will be a third part! Thank you!

The pace and teaching style allowed me to progress very quickly without getting overwhelmed and has really made me an enthusiastic student of classical guitar. (My steel string guitars are now feeling completely neglected)

This was an excellent course. I have learned more about music and the guitar than I thought possible. It is a joy to play music with virtualy no prior experience. Mr. Spasov in an outstanding teacher and I'm looking forward to the 3rd course in this series.

At first I didn't think I would learn much, BUT, I have, and he's such a lovely instructor. I found the 1st teaching classes rather unexciting as I've already done much theory but on reflection they were just right

Practice exercises provided was at the right pace. Not to much, just sufficient to learn what was being taught. The exercises was well thought out to help move the learner forward in the course.

This is an excellent course! I have not finished it yet but the instructions are very clear, the pace is perfect and the lessons concise and well ordered. I had already learned a tiny bit about classical guitar (a little less than one semester) so I skipped the Classical Guitar Course for Adults Level 1 and jumped straight into this one. The beginning lessons were a great review and added a few things I had not learned before. I have now reached lessons with content new to me and I am enjoying watching the lessons, practicing and playing along. I highly recommend this course!

After having completed level 1, I must say level 2 has so far exceeded my expectations. Each lecture is explained thoroughly and easy to follow. The pieces in this course are more complex then in Level 1, this adds to the satisfaction of being able to play them independently (even impressed some of my friends). I am very pleased with the progress I am making, which would not have been possible without the professionalism and enthusiasm with which Valentin teaches. Thank you dear Valentin, I am definitely looking forward to more levels to come. Kind regards, Diana
