This was a good overview of Claude Cowork. I was hoping to learn more about sharing projects and artifacts, which is where I'm struggling with Claude Cowork.

This is the second course I have taken from Tom Phillips, and once again I am thoroughly impressed. What sets Tom apart is not just his technical expertise, but the extraordinary amount of thought, care, and effort he puts into making complex topics simple, practical, and easy to understand. Claude Code, automation, and AI workflows can easily become overwhelming, yet Tom has a remarkable ability to break them down into clear, logical steps that give students both confidence and momentum. It is evident that a tremendous amount of preparation and dedication has gone into creating this course. Beyond teaching technology, Tom is performing a valuable service by helping thousands of people around the world gain access to knowledge that can genuinely transform their careers and productivity. In many ways, he is helping democratize access to one of the most important technologies of our time. Thank you, Tom, for your generosity in sharing your knowledge, your passion for teaching, and your commitment to excellence. The world needs more educators like you. Tom, I have a few suggestions that I can give, please ping me at kumar@smartomations.ai

I've used your prompts. It is no where near what you have. My skills are not being added to the plug. Claude says I am not creating a plug in. Example: Be explicit about where things should end up. "Create a skill for the property investment plugin" was ambiguous — I defaulted to a standalone .skill rather than bundling it into the existing plugin. Saying upfront "add it to the existing property-investment.plugin file" or "I want it to show up as property-investment:rename-invoices" would have saved that back-and-forth. and The person in the screenshot is building their own Cowork plugin — specifically authoring the property-investment plugin that you actually have installed. You can tell because: They're in a plugin editor view with a folder structure (.claude-plugin, assets, commands, scripts, README.md) The "Save plugin" button is visible in the top right They're editing invoice-renamer.md — the skill definition file that describes how Claude should rename invoices You, on the other hand, are a consumer of that plugin. You have it installed and use the rename-invoices, property-report, and property-setup skills it provides — but you're not authoring the underlying skill files. In short: they're writing the recipe, you're cooking from it. If you wanted to create or customize your own plugin, you could use the create-cowork-plugin or cowork-plugin-customizer skill — want to try that?

This was a very beneficial course. The case study approach was especially effective. The instructor also had a clear teaching style that made Cowork feel more likely an option to use.

This is an excellent start for beginners from people from non-tech background. I am already able to use this for basic stuff on day 1
