Clear and Simple VMware Horizon View 7.5 VCP-DTM (2019) (Udemy.com)

This course definitely helped me understand Horizon from a administrators perspective. Rick, did a great job with his presentation and he clearly has a strong technical knowledge and experience . The course material presented was great and would recommend to anyone wishing to gain a deeper understand of Horizon 7.5. That said, I wish Rick had a Horizon 8 Admin course (which is what I was looking for initially but was impossible to find) also, the Hands-on Lab no longer has the Horizon product.

Any one looking for a very good course and introduction to VmHorizon this is it. As others have mentioned Rick is a very good instructor and is clear and to the point. I would have liked more videos esp on setting up the initial infrastructure, on licensing, building a gold image from start to finish, UAG setup and configuration to name just a few. If you've got a Citrix CVAD/Netscaler background this is a great course to get your head around Horizon.

This course is in line with my current job assignment. Rick's easy delivery, good use of illustrations and calculated pace is such that I'm able to pick up complex concepts easily. I am rapidly learning VSphere and I couldn't have done as easily without Rick's well designed VMWare Horizon View 7.5 course.

I have previous Vmware experience and I wanted something to introduce me to Horizon that was in depth but easy to follow. I also found it helpful that he provided documentation from Vmware foe follow up reading.

Great course to get your Horizon journey started. I supplemented this course with "Implementing VMware Horizon 7.7" by Jason Ventresco and have a much better understanding of how to install, configure, and manage a Horizon environment. Looking forward to a "What's New" section now that Horizon 8 was announced.

it was a nice course well explained but it would be great to add trough some more light on topics like POD architecture and Replica servers also there were no information on the initial setup and the basic setup of the event configuration also one of the lecture the instant disk enhancement was left in half with the increased persistent disk not reflection the new size.

the best part of this training was the concept and clearly explain topics, but some parts like cloud federation,RDSH not deployed and we had only concept of them, also because of the instructor use VMware HOL so you cant see installation part of elements at all, but because of clear and deep explanation my score is 4 of 5

I really agree with the headline of this course, "clear and simple", it was just that. The instructor did a great job using simple diagrams and explaining each topic to make it easy and quickly understood. This helped me to grasp Horizon very quickly. I would like to suggest that added information on when/where to use linked clones vs instant clones and more real world examples; also include HCI (VSAN) into the discussion since that technology is starting to overtake traditional architectures. Well done, I will look to take his other courses.
