Are you looking for NSX Training? Do you want to learn from an experienced trainer who makes complex concepts simple and easy to understand?
I am a VMware Certified Instructor who has taught thousands of hours of live training directly for VMware. Most lectures in this course are 5 - 15 minutes long. A few deeper topics are slightly longer. This course gives you a complete understanding of NSX concepts. So join me in becoming an NSX Guru today!
VMware NSX is the most disruptive network technology in recent memory. Demand for employees who understand NSX will continue to grow as the product reaches maturity. This course is designed to help you understand all of the concepts behind NSX. We'll start at the very beginning, and learn basic networking. If you are a vSphere Administrator with a limited networking background this will be a huge help.
We'll then learn about the networking tools included with vSphere Enterprise Plus, including Standard and Distributed virtual switches. Basic concepts such as port groups and VMkernel ports will be explained in a clear and simple manner. We'll also look deeper into the feature set, covering topics like Private VLANs, Port Mirroring, and Network I/O Control.
NSX will be covered in a few different sections. First we'll learn the basics about NSX objects, and differentiate the Management, Control, and Data Planes. From there we'll dig deep into switching and routing functions within NSX. We'll also cover security, and how NSX can provide microsegmentation. I'll explain how Service Composer can be used to provide third party integration. And we'll look at Cross-vCenter NSX, which was released with NSX 6.2.
This course will also help you prepare for the VMware VCP exam. The new VCP-NV 2019 Certification can be achieved by passing the NSX 6.2 exam that this course is based on. In order to take the VCP6-NV exam you will need to complete some course requirements from VMware as well. Be sure to check those out as you prepare to get certified.

I think it was a very informative course. I did learn concepts and stuff, however, i do not feel nearly ready to take nsx exam, NO HANDS ON practice just theory and some nice slides. Not bad. could be lot better....

I had a sound issue at the beginning, but it's fixed now. So far it's ok but it's not as simplified as thought maybe because i'm new to vmware concepts. i still have to google and youtube some concepts to be able to understand

This course is great. Rick is an excellent narrator and instructor. The material is very clear and easy to understand. I found it to be comprehensive as well. It would be good to see a 15 minute chapter towards the end that talks more about how to configure NSX with an existing cloud instance on one of the platforms like AWS, Google, Azure. A short deep dive into that aspect would be great.

Another wonderful course from Rick Crisci. It's easy to understand and all technical details are crisp and clear! Now, I have a solid understanding about NSX components architecture etc., Overall the time spent for this course is valuable! Thank you Rick!

The material has been well-prepared and scripted prior to be presented. The presentations are excellent and the author's speech is clear making it easy for someone which is a non-native English speaker to understand him. Rick covers all content well and after finishing the course everyone should get some experience with NSX using "VMware HOL Labs". However, you shouldn't jump into the labs before understanding NSX and its features :)

It's a complicated topic. I think this course does proper justice to it. Concepts are explained in a well and concise manner. After taking this course, you just have to do the labs or some practical implementation and you are all set!

amazing detailed indepth explanation of NSX and the use and architecture, would have loved to have alot more technical aspect to this training, or availability of training course by the same trainer for actual implementation and deployment and troubleshooting to be applied to gain the technical skills. the training is absolutely wonderful to follow, i found his approach amazing, and the pace is perfect, i would definitly purchase more training provided by him. overall i really enjoyed every minute of this course.

Very well explained, simple to understand, the topics that need emphasis are well emphasized. What I like about this course is that it is concise, clear and to the point. No time-wasting filler material is included. For time constrained admins, this is a must-have course to understand NSX. Thank you Rick and well done!!

This course designed very good , teacher explained in very detail for each chapter and features. But there is no configuration instruction , it is better if you can include and teach NSX configuration in vSphere environment.
