Course Description
There’s a new participant on almost every business call you make now. It never speaks, never introduces itself, and quietly writes down every word you say, then hands a summary to people who were never even on the call. It’s the AI notetaker, and it has changed phone and conference-call communication more than anything since the invention of voicemail.
This course has just been rebuilt around that change.
You’ll start with a brand-new lead section on winning calls in the age of AI: how to speak so the transcript represents you, how to make the automated summary capture exactly what you meant, how to get every commitment on the record, and what you should never say on a call that’s recorded forever. Then you get the complete, time-tested library that’s helped tens of thousands of professionals communicate like pros: phone etiquette, conference calls, voicemail, Zoom and video meetings, listening skills, and sounding your very best every time.
The live human voice is still your single most powerful business tool. In a world drowning in email, automated messages, and AI-generated everything, the person who can pick up the phone and connect, clearly, warmly, and on the record wins.
What you’ll be able to do:
Communicate effectively by phone with clients, customers, colleagues, and bosses
Work confidently alongside AI notetakers, transcripts, and meeting summaries
Speak so the written record makes you look prepared, clear, and reliable
Run winning conference calls and look your best on Zoom and video
Avoid the telephone blunders that strike others as rude or unprofessional
Please note: this is a real course taught by a real person actually speaking and demonstrating these skills. If you want animation or slick edits, this isn’t the course for you, which is rather the point.

I really like how direct TJ is, addressing issues that a lot of speakers face and never being afraid to pin point it out. I've learned a lot techniques, including always having a single piece of cheat sheet, moving my body naturally during the speech, maintaining eye contact, asking for feedbacks on what they remembered, etc.. The course covered various communication scenarios, some include during using a teleprompter, presentation, or just simply over the phone. One thing however, I find that some information is overlapping due to different chapters of lessons all compiled in this course. Other than that, my favorite course so far!

I watched every video lecture across every course. Every one is high-quality and packed with excellent advice. While some sections focus on specific technologies, techniques, or speaking situations, much of the broader advice is the same across all of the courses or sections. If you take one course, wait a while, then return for a different or more specific course, you're likely to get a refresher on the fundamentals that ground the instructor's process such as preparing cheat sheets, focusing on a few ideas you want to communicate, and video-recording and reviewing your practice sessions. I took this course as part of a continuing education program at my workplace even though my job rarely calls for me to speak publicly. In spite of this, the course has encouraged me to invent a hypothetical presentation to practice the techniques and strategies presented in the course. I hope to return here in a few weeks to post my practice video and get some of that much advertised personal critique from the instructor.

Hi TJ....I spend 39 hours of 40 hrs a week on the phone, so when I found this course titled specifically dealing with telephone, I thought #4 of your (very long) courses that Ive watched, would have items specific to phones. Very very little of this 40-50 hour course had anything to do with phones. Do love the gun story, was it Alex Jo...nvm....You may want to make sure the title actually relates to the course. Thx again, great courses.

Hello, TJ Walker you are amazing! When I was listening to your presentation, everything seemed so logical and so obvious, seemingly simple to do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a complex presentation. I will try to apply in my work and in my family as much of the advice received as possible. Thank you, Alice-Raluca Petrescu

Informative and enjoyable to listen to. I put to good use TJ's tip encouraging us to speak up at meetings if we actually have something to say. Mine was a "drop the mic" moment, followed by further discussion about possible expansion of job duties (i.e., promotion). Thank you, TJ!!!

At first I found this course useful, but then it got very repetitive to the point I would lose interest. It became the same points being constantly made just in a different setting. Didn't need to be as long as it was.

I loved how he dealt on telephone skills and the do's and don'ts. Unfortunately, for a 28.5 hrs course I would have preferred that more time was spent on the actual topic of telephone and conference call skills. Having attended another long training course by TJ, most of the others subjects he dealt with in his course was now repetitive for me. If I had known this course would be discussing the same topics I had learned from the other course, I would have picked something else instead.

I liked the simple method, the 5 messages during a speech, recording oneself either by video or testing your spiel with friends who can give you a proper critique. How to give negative feedback, give lots of positive and then give the one negative with ideas on how to improve for the person you are speaking to. These are all great plans and ideas to help oneself be a great communicator.

Very comprehensive, Useful, and Informative, After listening to this video was able to find few mistakes that we do in basic communication with a colleague, business people, the way TJ took us through every module is simply awesome. Will imply these techniques in our day to day activity.
