Could not find the correct cucumber eclipse plugin. Read other comments and questions from 2 years ago and used the recommended link to eclipse marketplace provided by the instructor. However, could not find or load main class cucumber.api.cli.Main to continue with the course. The course material is out of date. Questions from others are years old without any reply from the instructor. You would've thought the course material would've been updated since you are still selling it.

The explanation is good but the versions shown in this course are too old that I can't make my environment work, so I can't do the practices. At least an updated list of versions should be included in te description or as part of the content as or a link to updated instructions to configure the environment. I have spent hours and hours of unsuccesful trying to configure my environment, and I have been watching other courses and tutorials which is a waste of time too.

The course was way awesome to learn about Cucumber. Despite knowing the theoritical concepts, the whole understanding is brought. Yet, it would be great if the same course can be explained along with Python, step definitions in Python would be more relevant for me.

I'm looking for MacOS/ruby step definitions in cucumber - this is great background, for a platform I am not targeting at this time. Instructor is articulate, & debugs on the fly very well. Hope to find same instructor for backend Cucumber/Ruby chops on MacOS from command line.

Good course, but I struggled to get Eclipse installed using the instructions in the course, so I ended up trying to use Netbeans; however I couldn't get the Cucumber plugin for Netbeans ( i then tried another cucumber plugin which I thought would work with Netbeans which didn't work either), with the result that I'm still struggling to follow the steps given in the course, in Netbeans.

Great introduction to not only BDD, but Cucumber, JUnit and Selenium. He makes it easy to understand how these work together to develop automated feature tests. He also makes it clear that there is a lot more information to learn. This is very introduction level.

Considering I didn't know much about Cucumber and Gherkin, and now I do, I believe I got my money's worth. I do like how he keeps each chapter short. Some tutorials drag on and one going over the same thing over and over again. My only complaints are very small details he misses on covering. But I am familiar with coding so it took a second to understand. I would say someone with no coding experience will have a few small problems. I have a terrible time setting up Eclipse, and when I asked a question I didn't receive an answer. Overall I think this is a good course for helping those get into Gherkin fast.

Easy to understand. American accent. Not too wordy, not to brief. An overview before each segment would be helpful, instead of figuring out the point mid-way through each segment and then going back to review/understand.

This course is not bad but it is very simple and it seems incomplete even for a basic course. It would be nice a further explanation about the best way to write scenarios and how to deal with mock data or complex scenarios where there are a lot of preconditions. I'm not familiar with selenium but an introduction about page object or any other technicque to componentize your test will be really aprecited.
