Complete Filipino Course: Learn Filipino for Beginners (Udemy.com)

Great course for getting back into learning Tagalog/Filipino or starting completely from scratch. I had some previous knowledge including Cebuano from my previous stay in the Philippines but even without, this course is a good starting point learning some cultural pecularities and the basics in vocabulary and grammar to get you up in running. Thank you very much.

Have a deep knowledge about knowledge and by ways presenting it to the student easy to follow accompanying some reviewed to make sure student really got something in it

I have tried multiple language courses, many that did not work for me. I really like this format especially the break down of what things mean and the slow tutorials on pronunciation. I really like this course so far.

It's good, but better if you have a bit of foundation in Tagalog already, and someone to talk through it with. Without a voice recording and verification, I find it challenging to fine-tune my pronunciation. Thank you, though!

I'm Filipino, and I was born in the USA (San Diego, California). I'm a little ashamed to say this. I'm 63 years old, and I speak very little Tagalog. But never say "never." It's never too late to start anything new, in my humble opinion. My mother was from Cavite, and my father was from Olongapo. They are both passed away now. They were both good parents. Thank you for this course.

This course is amazing! I already learned a little bit of Tagalog before this course, but this was definitely an upgrade. It's really helpful how the instructor pronounces each syllable and gives you a few seconds to say the words on your own. Perfect for anyone looking to learn Tagalog.

The course provides useful speaking and conversation instruction, which is what I’ve been looking for.

I've done part one of chapter one and I think the layout and format is great. Easy to follow and it works great on mobile. Also downloadable to learn offline. Superb.

A lot of information but the teacher does go a bit too fast and it feels like the rushed through a lot of the subjects. I took this course twice and still feel it could be broken down a bit more easier as this is a beginner course. I would not recommend this course for beginners.

It's an excellent course, Rose is super sweet about how she explains and how she structured the whole course. The language even if it may be difficult to learn she makes it very easy, of course, you need to practice otherwise you forget words and expressions. If you are a Spanish native (as me) you will find a lot of familiar expressions (kumusta = Como esta = How are you) and words (alpabeto=alfabeto, elepante = elefante, numero, oras=hora, the day and month names, etc) is a very interesting language full of different inheritance from other languages, is so reach, is a very nice experience to learn Philipino :-) Thanks, Rose for your time and dedication
