Course Description
Be ahead of the curve and build Real AI Agents with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
AI is powerful — but on its own, it’s limited. Without access to tools, APIs, and real-world data, AI agents can’t do much beyond generating text.
That’s where Model Context Protocol (MCP) comes in. MCP is the new standard for giving AI real capabilities: connecting models to APIs, databases, and even your own computer.
In this hands-on course, you’ll learn step by step how to build, deploy, and integrate your own MCP servers — turning AI into something that actually does things.
Why This Course Over Others?
Most resources on MCP are either incomplete or highly technical without context.
This course is different because it is:
Project-based — you’ll build real servers, not just read theory
Up-to-date — covering the latest MCP standard as it evolves
Practical — you’ll connect MCP to tools you already use (APIs, email, calendar, databases)
Proven teaching style — trusted by over 500,000 learners worldwide
Supported — with Q&A help and future updates as MCP grows
If you want the most practical, hands-on, and beginner-friendly path into MCP, this is the course.
Why Learn MCP?
MCP is quickly becoming the backbone of next-generation AI. Early adopters are already using it to:
Automate workflows with custom AI assistants
Connect AI to APIs, calendars, and emails
Fetch and process real-world data in real time
Build integrations that save time and money
By learning MCP now, you’ll be ahead of the curve — with skills companies and clients are actively searching for.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of this course, you’ll:
Understand MCP servers deeply — from core concepts to deployment
Build your own server with guided, hands-on projects
Integrate AI with APIs, databases, and external tools
Unlock real-world AI applications that go beyond simple chat
How You’ll Learn
This course is fully project-based. You’ll:
Follow along with real, working examples
Get downloadable code and templates
Reinforce your skills through guided exercises
Build tools you can actually use in your own work
Who This Course Is For
Developers who want to add cutting-edge AI skills

Are you thinking about pursuing a career as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist?
Do you ever think that your career could take a leap forward if you would have more knowledge and skills in the world of data?
Perhaps you are even feeling overwhelmed by the number of courses available or by the fact that your life is already too full to concentrate on one more course?
I am Nikolai Schuler, I am a data scientist and BI consultant, and I have been there too...
A few years ago I noticed that the world of data benefits from many new tools and technologies. However, I also realized that it is extremely difficult to get trained in the field: Practical courses with real quality content are rare and are often structured in such a way that they are incompatible with a working life full of other tasks and activities.
While going through hours of research and training, I came up with the idea of creating a course that would offer extremely valuable content but that would be at the same time easy to follow due to its structure.
My goal is to help as many people as possible to pursue their desired career in this new Digital Age by enabling them to upgrade their data analysis skills. I am proud to say that I am heading in the right direction as my courses have already found their audience in over 170 countries and received thousands of positive feedbacks.

The course is very much aligned with the relevant topics and helps in basic understanding or the concepts of MCP, RAG, etc. The content is such that you'll stick to the sessions.

The course was good, nicely designed, gives an overview of building/testing an MCP server & how can we run it locally or remotely. I found it a bit monotonous & less engaging though, to keep going, but I persevered. I guess those are personal preferences. The course overall is acutally decent.

Very clear explaination and practicals examples provided. I appreciate even more the free resources shared during the course to check ourselve what we learnt.

Thanks for the course. I learned a lot. Personally, I'm frustrated that Python is used extensively. I use JS and Java for development and I don't want to install the Python tools. I don't want to learn Python, there is too much other interesting stuff to focus on.

The practical walkthrough from creating MCP Server and integrating in MCP clients with providing knowledge on concepts like what is API, Authorization, how MCP server and client communicates helps even for a newbie. Thanks for putting in so much effort to help us folks learn new concepts.

Solid knowledge, lean instructions without much fuzz, interesting sive news like the new python manager uv built with rust. Single pain point: instructions get a bit outdated soon, because the vendors change their documentation / usage fast (in my case the firecrawl docs)

A very useful and hands-on course. Clear explanations with practical examples. Nevertheless, sufficient relevant knowledge and experience will make it even more useful.

This was an excellent course! The content was detailed, well-structured, and easy to follow. I learned how to create MCP servers and add tools, which gave me a solid understanding of the MCP ecosystem. The course also helped me better understand agentic AI and RAG solutions. The hands-on approach made learning both effective and enjoyable. It was a fantastic learning experience and a lot of fun!

explanations are clear but some specific aspects appear very quickly, and sometimes VS Code UI looks different than as is presented on videos
By Michael LEMAIRE on 5/26/2026
This course is a very solid introduction to the Model Context Protocol, with a clear and well-structured progression from basics to more advanced topics. The explanations are easy to follow, and the hands-on examples make it practical and engaging. I particularly appreciated how agents, servers, and tools are demonstrated in real use cases. The instructor succeeds in making complex concepts understandable. A bit more depth on advanced scenarios and deployment would make it perfect, but overall it’s a highly valuable course I would definitely recommend.
