The speakers lack of enthusiasm made me lose interest in researching the topics. I mainly used this video content as a podcast and hoped to gain some useful information. Network-related topics were interesting, this was the part where the speaker was passionate. The videos and images often were stock footage, irrelevant to the subject matter. Additionally, the distracting "timeline" at the bottom of the video made it difficult for focus. The exam questions were outdated, asking about technology that is no longer necessary, such as hybrid drives to increase read performance. This is no longer relevant as SSD prices have become more affordable. There is also no rotation of questions on the exams, which is disappointing. Overall, I would not recommend this content.

By Jörg Roesinger on 4/6/2023

First of all, the content in the videos had almost nothing to do with the questions asked in the exams. The videos share general book knowledge and very theoretical things, the exams ask for solutions on examples in real world administration (mostly windows related even) and the tools tought in the videos (wireshark, gns3) dont even play a role in the exams. You could skip most of the videos and not watch them at all and still have the same Quiz-show feeling in the exam. To me this was disappointing and I'm just glad that I had experience from my prior job to bring in, or else this would have been a super hard fail. Besides this, there are several mistakes in the exams. For example question 34 in 1001, the correct answer is switch and the explanation afterwards even states so, yet the answer is marked wrong. Same for question 81 in 1002, WPA2 is correct, again the explanation even says so very clearly but it is marked wrong when you click it. I don't want to start of all the typos that I encountered both in the subtitles of the videos and in the exams alike. The videos sometimes come in a non-logical order which you discover as soon as the prior video starts after the one that you just saw. All in all, it was not very good. Understandable, yes and due to my basic knowledge completable. But not good.
