Course Description

Get CompTIA Linux+ Certified Now!

These practice exams are for you if you want to:

  • Get Linux certified by passing the CompTIA Linux+ XK0-005 exam.

  • Save time studying for the exam by identifying the topics you need to focus on.

  • Increase your chances of passing the certification test on the first try.

Prove Your Worth With Your Linux Certification

By getting CompTIA Linux+ Certified, you'll prove to potential employers that you have the skills to be hired as a Linux System Administrator, Linux System Engineer, Operations Engineer, Cloud Administrator, or a Site Reliability Engineer.

Get and Stay Ahead of Your Competition

Having a highly respected IT cert, such as the Linux+ certification, greatly increases your chances of being hired. For example, many IT recruiters use a lack of certification as a reason to eliminate a candidate, even if they are highly qualified for that position. Plus, employers will overlook your lack of experience if you are certified.

Clearly, being certified puts you ahead of other applicants who are not. In short, obtaining a Linux certification can be the difference between the beginning of your IT career or never having one.

Increase Your Salary with the Linux+ Certification

Did you know that a Linux Administrator earns a median wage of $77,360 annually??? Not bad for passing a test!

What's Covered in the Certification Practice Tests

The practice exams quiz you on each of the topic areas you'll need to know in order to pass the XK0-005 exam, including:

  • System Management

  • Security

  • Scripting, Containers, and Automation

  • Troubleshooting

A wide range of topics are explored, ranging from Linux system administration to Linux security and hardening, to shell scripting, to container technologies such as Docker and Podman, and finally to troubleshooting Linux system issues.

Explanations Included!

Every answer comes with an explanation, thus further decreasing your overall study time. Instead of wasting time trying to figure out why an answer is correct, you'll know right away! No digging through giant study guides or endlessly searching the Internet.

Also, by immediately knowing the correct answer, you'll correct your mistakes instantly, thus improving your learning and increasing your chances of passing the exam.

Stop Wasting Time Going Over the Topics You Know!

Each question comes from a specific topic area of the exam. After completing just one practice test, you'll immediately know where you need to spend your study time and, just as importantly, where you don't need to spend your time.

Good resource for building confidence to take the Linux+ exam. I used these tests along with many other books, videos, practice tests, and lots of time in virtual box to pass the exam this week. Thank you

More than enough practice questions

Good knowledge and concepts to help with the Linux+ exam.

Good tests and accurate. Would love to see harder or more obscure questions, and more answers that are trickier and test a more granular degree of knowledge.

Bought this set of test to review and passed Linux+ last week. This is a good set of practice exams. The sample questions here help you identify your weak areas. I recommend if you get a question wrong, review that entire objective area until you know it - memorizing questions won't help and isn't the point of this whole thing. The last test was just acronyms, I didn't find that useful. There were a few repeat questions but it wasn't an insane amount, was more helpful to reinforce ideas IMO.
