Great introduction to Linux. Whilst on Furlough, I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn about the real technology underpinning some of the techno babble I often hear discussed amongst my more IT literate friends. I initially practiced the course examples from on a VM (VirtualBox and Centos) installed on my Windows desktop, but afterwards felt so encouraged I rebuilt an old pc with Ubuntu giving it a new lease of life (it was due to be taken to the scrap yard).

・It's mostly about code review but the lecture scope is well concise. the explanation of how to code is included in each video, which is surely useful.
・Jered, an assistant for answering our question, was quick and well-explain people. I couldn't overcome it without him.
・Although the explanation of how to code in each video is useful, they seem not enough to understand how those codes will be used in the real scene, as the course is entirely focusing on the code review.
・There are quite a few lacks of explanation of the code being used. A script file containing commands is suddenly used to show us what the background and foreground are, but the script itself was not shown at all. It ended me up looking for a series of past questions about how to make it.
・In particular, the contents around the network and SSH were not explained firmly, seemed too rough explanations for me. I think this is one of the most used concepts, so it made me a bit sad.
