- There were several quiz questions in Section 5 where the answers were identical ( of the duplicates, one was correct, the other was incorrect ). - Section 5 could have been broken down to 1 or 2 more sections.

Honestly, I found the explanation of the CIA Triad really helpful. It's a solid foundation for understanding security concepts, though the section on physical security felt a bit rushed.

I found the CompTIA Security SY0-701: General Security Concepts Part1 course pretty helpful, especially the section on the CIA triad. It really solidified some concepts I was fuzzy on, though the change management section could use a bit more real-world examples, personally.

Instructor is boring and very monotone. He has no excitement for what he is teaching. there are 8 answers on his quiz's that are in correct, after checking with other IT security instructors. quiz's need to drop to the standard 10 questions.

The CompTIA Security SY0-701 course was a great refresher for me on general security concepts. I've been working in IT for a few years now, but I wanted to brush up on my security knowledge before taking the certification exam. The course was well-paced and covered all of the essential topics.
By Anonymized User on 1/26/2025
I appreciated the thorough explanations of cryptographic solutions, including PKI and encryption methods. The inclusion of tools like TPM and HSM gave me a deeper understanding of their role in cybersecurity.
By Anonymized User on 1/19/2025
While the course was generally excellent, I would have liked to see more hands-on exercises to reinforce the concepts covered. Additionally, the pace of the course could have been slightly slower to allow for better absorption of the material.
